Well seeing how 360's software has outsold both the PS3&WII combined.....not worried. I have to agree with #1 Gamecube all over again with the software. The only reason to have the Wii is for Nintendo's games only.

I would give it a couple of years. Remember, Plasmas(58in and up) and LCD(50 and up) still cost starting at $4000 and this technology is closer to LCD than any other. Thin(thinnest in the world) and that screen getting bigger will just get more expensive so based on how LCD's trend in that size are going. I don't have confidents it will be just in 2 years. The tech is still young so we will see how it matures.
The 11in cost $2500 who would want to get a 60" at the price it might be at. It won't be mainstream for a while until the price comes down.

I enjoyed the demo so far(360) but right now will wait until release. I am concerned alot of features that made Burnout so fun are missing or changed up. Plus it feels more like Need for Speed Most Wanted with crashes vs Burnout in a Need 4 Speed open world.

Your bragging about 3% in hi-def sales in comparison to DVD. neither of these formats regardless of BR winning are going to take over anytime soon. Some of you all need to actually look at the numbers because you see articles for the past year BR outsells HD-DVD 10-1 for some of those movies your bragging about sales of only 10,000 the same DVD movie pulling in 3-400,000 copies. Neither side is winning.

The reason it got low sales is the same reason the majority of the games have had low sales....It is a BR player first in the majority of owners eyes and that it offers gameplay option. Meaning most people who actually own a PS3 are just movie buffs. Thats your excuse about hardcore users not buying Orange Box. But what is the excuse for Uncharted(great game by the way), Rachet, countless other games that have came to the system. All over the world software wise the PS3 is being beat. S...
