We'll just have to see the console sales data for January.
If Xbox 360 sales spiked in January, it's almost certainly because of Mass Effect 2, given that no other big title came out for Xbox 360 in January.
BioWare no longer holds the right to develop anything for Dungeon and Dragon.
But the franchise will continue after the Shepard trilogy, and future Mass Effect games after the trilogy will most certainly be on the PS3 as well.
The PC version is, and it has the highest average score at Metacritic.
Microsoft needs TRUE exclusive.
Microsoft made good moves by pulling the plugs on the PC developments of Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Fable 2 and Alan Wake. It seems like Microsoft has finally realized having all those "exclusives" on the PC ultimately hurts the Xbox.
Making sure that Gears of War 2, Fable 2 and Alan Wake do not get a PC version was the best move Microsoft has made on Xbox's behalf.
Now Microsoft just needs to create some awesome ...
instead of throwing money at old and rehash multiplat IPs or IPs that will inevitably become multiplat.
Microsoft needs to create TRUE exclusives that do not show up on the PC. All those PC/Xbox exclusives, "timed" exclusives and exclusive DLCs are just BULLSHITS.
Microsoft needs to plan for the future. Microsoft will lose the exclusivity for Gears of War and Mass Effect IPs, inevitably after Epic and EA/BioWare complete the trilogies. What other AAA-rat...
... on the PC.
Agent is a console exclusive, not a true exclusive. It is also available on the PC.
That's a very surprising entry price point for an Apple device.
Now I'll DEFINITELY get one. iPad to use all the iPhone/iPhone applications and surf the web while I'm not in my home. And Nexus One for phone calls. Don't have to be stuck with AT&T -- hurray!
iSlate is such a stupid name.
They couldn't tell a good ENGLISH dialogue from a lousy one.
Not sure why Sony fanboys consider Agent as as an "exclusive" while they keep saying Mass Effect 2 isn't because it's also on the PC.
I'll play Mass Effect on the PC; and if Agent is any good, I'll play it on the PC as well. But so far the trailers for Agent haven't looked too good, and Alpha Protocol will seem to be a better spy game.
Dragon Age: Origin vs. Mass Effect 2??
They both come out at about the same time, both made by BioWare, and both have very similar gameplay mechanics.
I'm so... underwhelmed.
That's a lot of money to make a "indie" game-pretending-to-be-a-movie. And a lot of indie films are better and made with much less money.
Blu-ray was able to defeat HD DVD because of the PS3.
Sony earns a revenue every time a movie studios put contents on a Blu-ray and every time a Blu-ray disc is sold, and the revenue adds up.
If you look at the PS3 as a loss leader to cement Sony's stranglehold on the hi-def DVD market, the console is already a winner for Sony.
If DS, *and* iPhone, *and* Android, all become popular mobile gaming platforms, then the market will be overcrowded.
Especially most adults are not going to carry more than one handheld device with them, (i.e., they're not going to hog around a smartphone and a game handheld on them.) People will just carry a smartphone that can pretty much do everything, and they will just play whatever good games that are available on the phone.
I don't care if Sony fanboys thinks...
on a starship.
Like a new round of Red Ring of Death?
but she's not a good voice actress.
Zac Efron should get a girlfriend who doesn't take off her clothes too easily.
They no longer has the right to make any more game based on Baldur's Gate or Dungeon & Dragon.
Atari currently holds the right.
