I see Id's announcement as the evidence that Blu-ray is NOT needed.
As a consumer, what do YOU prefer? Do you prefer to pay an extra $100 (soon to be $200 after the double 360 price cut kicks in) for a Blu-ray component, or do you prefer to save the $200 and just get the same game on an extra DVD disc?
I know I'd rather save the money and get multiple DVDs.

A true replayability is when you can play a completely different character, class, race or gender, or can can play on the different side (good or evil,) or use a different approach (violent versus diplomatic.)
I don't consider getting unlockable features or some hidden eastern eggs as true replayability. Saying that it is = PR or fanboy talk. Very few games have true replayability, and this game is not one of them.
