Uncharted 2 debuted at Metacritic with 100, and Mass Effect 2 with 98. Both ended up with 96.
God of War III debuts with 94. Metacritic scores *always* go down overtime as more reviews come out -- which means God of War III will end up with 90 to 92.
Wii is also not getting it... lol.
West and Zampella are free to talk to or join EA or any other company, and Activision would still have to honor their contract and pay West and Zampella.
who came from game developer background.
and replaced the two developer heads with an accountant and a MBA. Now the studio is led by a couple of business suits.
how could Activision possibly fire Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Frank Zampella??
Hm.
Maybe they plan to do something with the IP.
iPlay!
Apple fanboys vs. Sony fanboys massacre FTW!
GoW3 can wait. Pokemon = MUST HAVE!!!!
People still think any Gears of War will come to PS3?!? LOL. Seriously.
Gears of War 2 isn't even on the PC. Gears of Wars 3 most likely won't have a PC version as well. So what makes people think 3 will be on the PS3?!?
Unless Microsoft makes a huge misstep and seriously pisses off Epic, Gears of War will remain as a 360 exclusive.
As Obsidian is basically a reincarnation of Black Isle, they have very much in similar.
So far, all of Obsidian games -- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Neverwinter Nights II -- were horribly buggy and glitchy when they first came out. Those games have the same problem as the Black Isle games (e.g., Fallout): buggy, broken games that have never been properly patched.
It is the same situation with KOTOR II and NWN II. Obsidian basically released the ga...
Obsidian Games, the developer of Alpha Protocol, is closely related to BioWare Games. They have a history.
Obsidian is made up of people from Black Isle. Black Isle famously made Fallout, Fallout 2, and Planescape: Torment back in the 1990s, and had a cult following.
BioWare made action shooters at first. When BioWare first got into the RPG business to make Baldur's Gate in the mid-1990s, they partnered with the more experienced RPG developer Black Isle. At the...
Elder Scroll V: The Shadow Realm is in production.
Valve doesn't make games for PS3 = Gabe is a fat lazy ass and can't code on the PS3 cuz they suck.
Atlus doesn't make games for Xbox 360 = Good decision cuz Xbox can't handle the game. (As if some LEGO game with crappy graphics need a lot of power.)
FYI, Gabe hate ALL consoles. The only reason why Valve makes games for Xbox 360 is because PC and Xbox 360 share very similar codes, (like 80 to 90 percent similar,) so it takes minimal effort to port their games from P...
That must be the reason why Mass Effect 2 has so many bugs on a single-core machine. BioWare could not play and test Mass Effect 2 on a single-core PC because they did not have one. LOL.
Most PC gamers -- even those with the latest gaming PCs -- use DVDs and choose DVD over Blu-ray. Even the latest Macs and MacBooks use DVD, not Blu-ray. (Of course, the ultra thin MacBook Air does not even have an optical drive.)
So, do Sony fanboys want to force PC gamers to adopt blu-ray too?
Would be funny if both BOMB.
It's embarrassing that both Sony and Microsoft used to take jabs at Wii for its motion control, and now both are ripping off Nintendo.
That's actually a very well voiced line.
When the Asari shopkeeper asked my Shepard to advertise for her store to get a discount, I thought, "wow, this is going to be chessy."
But when Shepard said, "I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the Citadel!" The line was short and to the point, and most importantly, the voice acting was extremely well-done. I thought, "hey, that actually sounded good."
Of course,...
I want to play Mass Effect 2, and I currently don't have an Xbox 360.
If Mass Effect 2 was a true exclusive, then I would have no choice but to buy another Xbox 360 to play it. I really don't want to deal with Xbox 360 ever again, but I would have if I had to do so to play Mass Effect 2.
BUT I can play Mass Effect 2 on a PC. Which means Microsoft failed to lock me in as a customer with that game -- that is why Mass Effect 2 is NOT an exclusive.
That is...
because we all know PS3 fanboys also own a blazing PC for gaming. I'm sure they can play Valve games on their powerful PC. LOL.
