I just upgraded to an Asus Strix 980 - cost more than a PS4, but really bumped up the quality of a lot of my games. And I know it'll last me a lot of years. So I'm very happy to read it'll get up to 60fps with top end settings in Witcher 3.

Daniel Sussman from Harmonix confirmed that all Rockband DLC you own from the same console family will import in to Rock Band 4.

http://worthplaying.com/art...

I am not sure this is 100% correct, as I thought some licensing issues would get in the way - but it is still good news, and if it does include 100% of purchased DLC it is awesome!

EDIT: Also, there'...

Trolling?

The Last Guardian appears to have had a lot of problems - but Sony trolling us is not one of them.

The point a lot of people are missing is that there's a good chance Nintendo are going to rake in a lot of money from mobile apps - it's currently the biggest growth area of gaming.

And they can reinvest some of that profit in to their handheld and console games / hardware for the Nintendo faithful. It's a fact that mobile apps / games cost less to develop than a full AAA title - so I like the idea of money sitting in the Nintendo bank that they can use!

There's more critical analysis in your response than most of the ridiculous negative articles! :)

We have absolutely zero idea what form this new console will take, or even if it will replace the WiiU.

Considering that Nintendo have partnered with a mobile company provides big clues to their future direction - but at the moment everything is assumption and speculation.

What's with all the negative Nintendo articles today? Do these sites have them ready and waiting? So as soon as some real Nintendo news hits, they can ride the wave of clicks by releasing this tosh.

If AMD continue along their normal path... I would think the answer is 'lots'.

I thought I saw a leaked slide that showed significant power draw - but I can't find it now.

Fingers crossed it's a more reasonable level. Nvidia have been very impressive in the way they have reduced power consumption while increasing performance. My GTX 980 is awesome - the fans don't even spin up until it hits 67C so in low end older games the fans never st...

That looks awesome... But the important question to me... How long do they take and can they be skipped.

It may be sacrilege to say this... But once you've seen them a few times I do tend to feel the need to skip to the part where the enemy go boom!!

Give it a rest fanboy.

Comparing the number of titles for a console has nothing to do with the financial health of an entire company.

No they are not.

The majority of hype comes from the media these days, not the devs / publishers or even us gamers.

I'm not saying when games are announced that the dev / publisher doesn't know full well there's a high likelihood the game will be delayed - but it certainly isn't for hype and to garner more sales.

I would MUCH rather MS put their money in to new IP and resurrecting Rare IP than spend it on TitanFall 2.

There was no way EA would want to miss out on all those sweet 20+million PS4 users money! It would have cost MS a fortune to retain console exclusivity.

2 factor authentication would be sensible

I use it on my Blizzard and Google accounts. I know it's not infallible, but it is certainly better than what we currently have... And Sony's track record is not exactly great in this regard!!

In my experience Sony's PlayStation customer support is poor.

I had a lot of problems with my PS3 activations and the support was useless. Their advice was along the lines of 'tough luck, buy a PS3 Slim'.

It is unfortunate that in these cases it appears to have not got any better.

I understand that it must be difficult if support suspects some idiot has shared his password. But it seems that Sony take the position of guilty unti...

Ah right, interesting.

I put in an order, seems cheap enough to me.

Have also been using Flubit.com a lot recently to get better prices than Amazon.co.uk Got GTAV on PS4 for £35 this week.

Cheap price.

I hadn't heard of the retailer before, but it appears they have merged with HMV.

The mob mentality and anonymity of the internet is certainly not helping in some cases.

There's a difference between using the power of the people to affect change - for example an organised boycott of a product or company for a justifiable reason; compared to the frothing rabid manic wild eyed screaming of a bunch of people acting like entitled children throwing a tantrum.

Unfortunately the latter is much more common in video gaming.

There comes a point in any project where throwing more money and resources at it doesn't make it deliver any quicker, so if it can't be released for Xmas, then I doubt it's for lack of trying every possible solution. So Sony are just doing what has to be done.

Sony would never risk their #1 IP go out the door in anything less than near perfect state. Especially after the DriveClub debacle.

Shocked? They had nothing for last Christmas so why expect it to change this year!!

Sony are definitely at risk of losing some sales in US and UK markets if MS pull off something big at E3. New versions of a few old Rare IP's would definitely resonate with many gamers.

Although it's just as likely MS will see games pushed to 2016 as is rumoured already for Quantum Break So assume the status quo will remain in terms of sales!
