...that it doesn't look like an old kung fu or Chuck Norris movie (no offense, Chuck). gCM
They need more than that game (though it sounds like it will do very well) to use it-- I agree, XBLA is a perfect venue for low-risk entries to use it. And yes, if they snuck in motion-sensing (and then let that out little news out), then families would have 4 of them and could get some Wii-love. I have both 360 and Wii, and while I still think its a gimmick, WiiSports is very fun. I still think its a gimmick because I haven't seen good use of it yet beyond WiiSports (though the gun thing ...
The online gaming, the friends list, etc... It makes a great overall "experience" they talked about when the 360 was first coming out. One really sweet thing is I can stream my Sirius satellite radio via the internet while playing on-line (Gears still doesn't miss a beat). gCM
If you're a Sony fan, why would you even be reading this? Fight back against the Fanboy crap... gCM
That's my thoughts -- just like the Gillette razor--sell them the razor, make a ton off the blades later.. Besides, a core system at or slightly below a Wii would place some great pressure on consumers. The other systems would deflate Sony's wind of theirs. If they don't, then Sony should be throwing a party at the missed opportunity. gCM
I appreciate the civility. The fanboy crap gets so old. There should be an insta-ban button. gCM
All of mine work fine (3 XBOX 360s, 3 headsets). gCM
While the Wii (of which I have one) is good for Wii Sports (and I have admit I have interest in Mario Galaxy) (and browsing/news/weather), the attach rate of the 360 versus the other two are just through the roof (games purchased for system). And this doesn't go from their current large line-up, its been the entire time the system has been available. In the end, it comes down to the Benjamins, and stockholders care more about that than anything else. As I see it, the Wii is a niche produ...

Still, a map editor for Gears is very intriguing.. Damn, when will VelocityGirl upload some 360 Gears maps?!? gCM
The price will have to come out. As far as the 65 goes, I don't think they are there yet to comment. I'm surprised they didn't mention that they'd throw in Halo (except there are 3 SKUs for that also).
My opinion, those who want Halo3 already have a 360, but I agree there are some who are fence-sitters. A price cut could really open up the floodgates, especially if it doesn't require a HD and they drop the core price to match the Wii (and throw in a memory unit). As far as c...
I'm afraid the lawsuit will be thrown out, so your joy will be short-lived... gCM
While we'd all love to not have the issue at all, I've got three (wife even got her own XBL account to track her achievements and online play). If it breaks (I've had the RRoL once), send it back--usually its a smooth process. The games, the "experience" they talk about, it kicks a tremendous amount of tail. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. My kids got me a Wii for father's day, and its really cool (Wii Sports + browser + news + weather--hear that M$??), but nothing brings the de...
Assuming this isn't a rumor, I'll be snagging it on day 1-- it was a bummer that online wouldn't happen. Now, wow! gCM
That is wonderful. I have three boys and they are awesome--baseball, football, playing videogames with them. What a blessing. Enjoy each day with him. gCM
1. People naturally want to be associated with a winner.
2. They want to believe their investment choice in a console was right, and will be supported a long time by great games.
3. They take it personally, as part of their identity the result, or "winner" of the console market (though how do you define winner, as much as any survivor with strong market share will continue to the following gen).
4. They take pleasure in insulting others for little or no reason.

As nauseating as it is (I'd be avoiding their gamer tag), freedom of speech implies ideas may get presented you don't agree with. Without that freedom, someone ultimately becomes the one who decides what is right for all. The community is strong enough to criticize ideas--and I limit my kids exposure to XBL just for such idiots. That said, M$ has the right to dictate/enforce policy. gCM
I am polite and courteous, until the host (at times sounding younger than my 10 year old who isn't allowed to see Gears, much less play it) or some other dolt starts mouthing off-- at that point I either mute them, turn the volume down altogether, or, at rare times I'll give some back (rare, but not unheard of). While I'd love for some "no one under 21 allowed" button, there are times those are jerks also (though not nearly as much as the pre-pubescent trying to act "grown up&...
Come on, M$ -- get your head out of your butt and allow user-created content for games, not just stupid pictures.. Sony has this, there's no excuse--I know you're trying to protect the bottom line, but give up the protectionist attitude!! Oh yeah, and bring the extra levels to the 360-- Where's VelocityGirl's extra skate parks?!? And (while I'm swinging for the fence), give us news/weather & a browser also! While my Wii browser isn't ever going to replace my laptop browser, it is very...
