I'm afraid that post raises a lot of questions... Decency prohibits me from listing those questions... gCM

My prediction (yes, I'm a 360 owner who loves GEARS), the "bringing more into gaming" line isn't going to last. The controller is a gimmick (I've played Excite Truck with it). Gears makes my heart race like a videogame never has, and my wife says I sound like a "little boy playing Army with his friends" while on-line. NOW, if the Wiimote does bring more into gaming (for a sustained period), great--for all and Nintendo deserves the credit, but I'm just skeptical at thi...

The software (games) will still be expecting an analog "stick"-range of values. It may "work" but likely won't have the same sensitivity as the computer. I'll wait for reviews. gCM

But then you could also go to the fact that its the most played game on XBL now and has been. I enjoyed GRAW, and will go back to finish it some day, but I have to go play more GoW on-line, and soon to get my FREE downloadable content. gCM
As sad as it is, I want to play Elevator Action on my 360. Either make it backward compatible or bring it to Arcade. Either way I'll be happy (happier if it gets on Arcade). ..back to Gears. gCM
In some cases, if you jump into a game session, you can hear all other players but they can't hear you. If you go into a private chat with one of the players, that works but it also $ucks. I know its not a hardware problem on my end because Texas Hold'em does it fine, plus the private chat. PLEASE fix this. Then add a few more maps.. Overall, I still give it a 9.9 as I'm totally addicted to the multiplayer. gCM
Kane & Lynch will be awesome but I'm most looking forward to Bioshock. gCM
I started the single player, then started the multiplayer and can't go back.. I can't stop the multiplayer--I LOVE IT. I left work telling a coworker I was going on a GEARS chainsaw killing spree. For those sayings its "so so", it just make me question whether you've tried the multiplayer and given it enough of a chance (or are a PS3 plant who's NEVER played it). gCM
You think M$ would charge for a repair that an update caused?!?! These guys are either biased and/or not intellectually honest. References for these lame claims?? gCM
Yes, its that good. I can't even get back to the single player as the multiplayer is so great.. gCM
And with Bioshock coming and ultimately Halo 3 (I personally don't care that much about H3) and the absolute lack of PS3s, they'll (parents with whining little Johnny) either choose Wii (low supply) or the 360. I personally can't wait for Bioshock, but that'll mean I'll have to put Gears down to play it... gCM
Sorry, way too easy. Don't drop your gloves like that! gCM
I say give it to him--my $60 should cover a small raise for Mr. Ironside (who was awesome in SCANNERS!!) gCM
I bought BFME2 and pretty good (I still can't put Gears down). I am intrigued by the more futuristic units and visuals of C&C3. It will be a day-0 purchase, unless half the game requires additional purchase later!! If its an unlock option that can be unlocked without payment, or more maps later, possibly. But if they get into severe nickle-and-diming, then that day-0 purchase will become a used purchase from the bargain bin after its been out for a while. For that, we need reviewers t...
Buy an HD-DVD if you want, or download the movie. The prices are different for NEW HD titles versus 480p older movies. The point is you've got choice and I like it. And the prices will change as the market dictates. I'm a little disconcerted paying $6 to rent MI3 in HD, but I've never rented HD before because I don't have an HD player--don't NEED one either. If you don't want it, then don't rent/buy, simple as that. NetFlix makes you wait longer than a download anyway, but they do have you...
While it may not cost you yet, you'll get hit in some way. Sony won't be keeping the servers running out of the goodness of their heart. Now, if you want Sony's network, great--have at it. I don't mind paying $50 to have a great overall experience. I stream my music from my PC (or my iPod or the 360 hard drive), while chatting with someone (or the in-game folks) and kicking some major a$$ on Gears (though not as much as I'd like). gCM
