e3 is what nearly killed it. The change in policies a week later are what saved it.

Of course most people will probably buy the premium services for online pay. But those thinking that that means the Netflix use being restricted to paid users on XBL doesn't matter need to learn ethics. Most, if not all, people complaining about that paywall issue are talking about ethics and what is right. Not the issue that they have to pay twice to use it on that system.

If everyone pulled the simpleton argument of "Doesn't matter if I'm going to get it a...

I disagreed because you don't know what generation means. It has nothing to do with console specs. Only release date.

4328d ago 2 agree3 disagreeView comment

Generations have to do with when they are launched. Not what hardware it has. If the original Gameboy were released today it would still be current gen.

If you were born in 1990 you are stuck in that generation of people no matter how far ahead you are in intelligence or how far behind you are. It's when you were introduced to the world. Get it yet?

This is 2013, not 2006. So saying Sony copied Microsoft by including headsets is pretty ignorant. In 2020-something are you going to say Sony copies Microsoft again for including a headset in whatever future console they have just because Microsoft was the first for it? It was a logical thing to do. It just so happens that Microsoft did it first.

If X1 supported older headsets and had blutooth it would be a whole other story, but it does not. They wanted to abandon part of w...

For those talking about what did what first like the home button, HDD, achievements, blah blah blah..

PSX had a home button and a HDD first.
Steam had achievements as an online account system first.
Marketplace was first on PC.
Motion controls were first done in arcades.
Blah Blah Blah.

Whoever pointed out standard HDD.. You still can't swap it out like a PC or PS3 harddrive just because it uses a industry standard HDD size...

I hope PS4 and X1 support this in some ways. If all 3D games support this that would be really a really good move.

Lets not pretend it is a fact unless it is so.
PS3 did not have advertisements for years and now that far more people will pay for subscription they will probably do away with them or only have small little messages for advertisements, and at least they advertise more relevant things.

They should Release Portal 3, Half Life 3, and Left4Dead3 together. The "3 Bundle" and when they announce it they say, "Yes. We can count to 3".

4331d ago 5 agree0 disagreeView comment

Valve said Portal 2 on Playstation 3 was the best version of Portal on consoles. They even included Portal 2 for steam with the PS3 version via a code. Live restricted them too much just to update their games so they decided PSN was a better method for developers to express themselves.

And DDR3 isn't obsolete..

That is like saying DDR3 is obsolete because it is based on DDR1. Just ignorance.

It's not necessarily supposed to be a controller for it to replace a Dualshock, but is for other kinds of control in games with the new touch screen device support in games. They can work around the L2, R2, L3, and R3 with the back track pad and the front touch screen, though not as good. It is nice to have the remote play supported by basically every game for it though.

The CPU is still the most important. Just not as necessary to spend as much money on for gaming.

4333d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

It's because games don't take advantage of more then 4 cores really.

My friend had a hexcore AMD processor for a while. He upgraded to one of the higher up i5's. Better for gaming, not by much though, but it wasn't better for rendering in Cinema4D.

@Funantic1

You're trying to consider it as fact that it will make more money. Stop that.

Illumiroom is kind of dead. Them just trying to get hopes up for next gen. It's nothing special anyways. It isn't simple to set up either. Also very expensive.

They aren't doing a kinectless sku as far as we know.

Or people can just get a regular cable box for free/cheaper from their provider and get a PS4. You don'...

Sony has a large quantity of quality.

4334d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

That would sound smart, other then the fact that far more PS4's are selling so they've actually made more money back from them.

Capabilities. Not performance. They both offer similar features in almost every category. They both offer significant upgrades and can do almost the same game experiences great. But as for what can perform those experiences better is obvious.

People are free to voice their opinion on a product. He wanted to read the article out of interest. You're just being ignorant about it. I don't like the XBox One so far but I can still be interested in things about it. Maybe what I read will change my mind.

In a court of law they see free speech as different from personal insults. There is a strong difference so don't use that terrible argument.

@n4rc It doesn't turn off. You just don't have to use it, unless for certain commands.

Microsoft lied that they were part of PRISM. Then they were exposed as being part of it and lied about it. It isn't paranoia. It is Microsoft's history. They lie a lot and do it all to benefit themselves. They act like trying to please the customer isn't what makes products sell.

Logic dictates that they aren't to be kept on their word. Logic dict...
