@ Mcstorm.
The PS3 YLoD? Do you think that as many PS3's died from this as did 360's from the RRoD? No, they did not. Every product has ones that break. That does not mean they are equal in that area.
I think when the XBox 360 loyalists I know in real life have had theirs break 3 or 4 times from the same issue it is not only a huge difference personally but a huge difference from the actual statistics.
I am not talking about hardware...
They need better hardware engineers. They don't have good build quality in their systems and they show signs of laziness. External power brick still on a system already bigger then the original PS3 and they only recently achieved overclocking the GPU and still only by a very tiny amount. We also know the amount of testing done on the original 360, which was almost none.
Sometimes tweaking, even that little of MHz, can have big issues. They better test it well in many situations.
Did you read his comment? They are multi-platform. They aren't going to talk rude about either platform so long as they have a reputation for either one.
@Corpser,
Kinect is not the console itself. He means the same towards the PSEye too. He just doesn't mention it because it isn't proprietary and trying to become a
feature in every game.
Not to mention many people, including those that support X1, don't care much for Kinect on...
He means feature capabilities. What they can do for gaming. Tons of RAM, similar cloud features, similar architecture, similar processor. They are similar, just like your PC is similar to mine. Except performance varies between them.
He isn't talking about pure performance. Stop twisting things. That is why he says he hasn't benchmarked or tested enough.
But with more PC like hardware it is like me playing a game on my laptop, which is quite capable of gaming, it has a 7670m and maxes Borderlands 2 out at around 30fps, and even when I recorded gameplay it didn't dip down more then 5 fps and I was surprised because 25fps is just fine for youtube videos if I were to make some. My brother has a laptop which is a step above mine and has a 7770m. The point is that a game played on mine I may have less frames or some things turned a notch down....
Many games ran on what they called "dev kits" which coming from Microsoft can mean a loosely used term for more high end PC's designed for game development.
Dead Rising was on a Dev Kit/PC. It was labeled as running on a PC debugging environment which mean performance may vary. It is why we hear a windows sound in the middle of its e3 debut.
"Performance-wise, the target is 30fps, with v-sync engaged. There is a little chugging during the...
Cause Sony limits their first party? From what we see they give them plenty of time and a ton of help in their projects.
Rare is doing what nowadays? They work more on the XBox system software rather then actual video games. Remedy hasn't proved anything to me yet. If I wanted Alan Wake it's on PC right now. Quantum Break has little to go by right now
I think they are testing the market for a game after this one. The character they tease on the site has red hair. They normally have blue hair for main characters in BoF, which this would likely be seeing how it is the first and only character they show so far. If this mobile version does good they might decide to release a sequel or a bigger version of BoF6 that follows the character trend with blue hair on a different character and this game could just be some side story of it.
Ps3 and 360 have fantastic graphics in racing games. My laptop maxes out GRID on a 7670m and 1.6GHz quad core.
Pretty sure a console with much better specs then that can do far far better when they can do Gran Turismo and Forza with much better graphics then GRID on far worse hardware then my laptop. How hard is it to know about optimization?
We need liquid cooled laptops
Imagine using it like Snake does in MGS4 like an eyeglass
You mean immersion? Using it in a spy game would be quite awesome. If it can do augmented reality that would be insane. Glasses with augmented reality on both lenses in the future could put things into your view that look like they are actually there. I'm sure it could somewhat work on google glass but only on one eye it wouldn't be quite as 3 dimensional.
Slasher should realize that two separate teams work on FF14 and the singleplayer FF games so it isn't like they are ignoring singleplayer. They have just made a bunch of bad-ish ones that are really well polished visually. I am in the FF14 beta and I hate mostly every MMO I play and I really like FF14 while its still only in beta so I am excited for when it actually comes out. IT has FF Tactics and FF12 nostalgia.
The batteries are rechargeable. Why would you need to open the phone? They aren't AA. If your battery goes bad then replacing them isn't bad either. Your logic stinks. Don't compare console to PC. PC has tons of variables. Console have much more results for the performance they get then PC does. Owning a video card doesn't make you know how it works.
Why are you adding in the Move controller? If you compare price difference you do so by calculating what features each one has. One does not have a Move controller so you wouldn't add its price in for the PS4 compared to X1.
You could bring that way of thinking to Microsoft if it's so great.
"Hey Microsoft 500 for a console, yearly subscription and games at $60 a pop. And these small differences for a one time purchase are a big deal to you?"
The cost adds up. People want to buy more games and not have to spend more then they need to. I thought that is what everyone should want is to save what they can and get more.
Hey signified. That is extra money. He said he was going to use just the headset, not an adapter.
derp derp.
Call of Duty is a trend and a lot of trends are dying especially with the new console transition. Their laziness as devs is showing especially in their game on the newer consoles. It looks like another minor improvement despite the far better hardware.
