I feel like misterx is going to retrieve the HHG treatment.
@xJumpManx
Yes, these mythical "other console controllers" copied the the "360 style" that is a far more direct copy of the Dreamcast controller. It's "generally" accepted in what group you are talking about. I see far more people here that like the DS3 more.
The only thing you have is an opinion on the controller comfort. Which, by the way, I am not talking about the thumbsticks, that is not ergonomic at all or what enhance...
Well, I don't know how to not be offensive about it, but the guy seems to sweat a lot so he probably wants to cover it up some with that jacket.
Oh, so each CPU core is split into 4 cores. So X1 has 24 cores? That's odd that Microsoft wouldn't announce that they have better specs. It's so odd that your "insiders" have the same grammar and choice of words as the author.
More transistors doesn't necessarily mean more powerful. Otherwise Ryse wouldn't be at 30fps and chug downward at certain parts like the beach scene in the demo.
The cloud doesn't add tflops to the console performance. Not at all. Biggest reason why? Because the X1 cloud is not made up of GPU's to do the processing so they don't push out much raw performance at all. Not to mention how big the latency is.
If your fake insider was true then Mic...
I can't wait to have a PS4 and a Vita. Go to my friends house who has a PS4(Hypothetically), remote play to my PS4 at home, and join him in game.
I would wait for PS4, build a high-end PC with the $1000, or construct a PS4 laptop with the $1000.
You are both biased because you pretend I am comparing the quality of Sony and Nintendo's exclusives. Quit comparing. It is highly opinionated and there is no doubt they both push out quality games. I am just stating the facts.
PS4 already has 100 confirmed games for it. Wii U has 147 as of June 20th. 4 of those are pinball spinoffs. That gives you an idea of how much actual creative and innovative games there are right now.
If you think Sony only prov...
Marriage is for when you have been in a true and mutual relationship for quite some time. Not age restricted.
Oh so X1 invented multitasking? Somehow the XMB isn't very clean and simple all of a sudden. It's not like the new X360 interface is the same thing but swapped the position of categories when you move up and down and added even more categories and sub categories on top of that to clutter and complicate it. Then when you are in game and hit the guide button it pulls up a ui unlike the new ui to complicate it more rather then just using the same ui. It's a mess. Also, just to type s...
The 360 ui is basically a copy of the XMB but with swapped x and y axis and with some more complications and menus to go through.
PS+ is cheaper then Live. You are so uneducated about this and that makes you biased.
Bad 1st party support and gameplay compared to Wii U? PS4 has terrific 1st party support right at launch. Wii U has been out longer and has very few games. Arcade games and revamps are not comparable to new IP's and proper sequels. It has backwards compatiblity, Gaikai. PS4 is 500GB's. Pretty sure X1 is as well.
Wii U misses out on dozens of multiplatform games and...
Why do you guys have to come up with terrible reasons just to have as many as possible?
SmartGlass isn't exclusive and Sony so far shows far better support for that kind of thing, which they had thought up first with Home on PS3 btw.
USA product? Still assembled in other countries and it has terrible engineering.
The cloud is for doing what is already done on current consoles. The only difference is new consoles are more built around it ...
@FrigidDARKNESS
Everything has bottlenecks. On a console you can much more easily work around them. If the CPU is a bottleneck then you can put more onto the GPU and vice versa. PS3 had better graphic capabilities because of this. The GPU was it's bottleneck and by many considered worse then the 360 GPU, but the CPU was more powerful and versatile then the 360 CPU. The CPU could actually produce decent graphics so some games took advantage of this and freed space off the ...
@FrigidDARKNESS
DDR5 is off the shelf? hardware for better audio and game recording is off the shelf? The processor quoted as having “a large number of modifications.” is off the shelf? I'm gonna go build me a PS4 then.
@Sarxblade
The PS4 has a modified processor. That is why it has 50% more raw power. That doesn't include that it has dedicated hardware for audio processing and to handle recording game footage. That means less load ...
Because they burst out laughing afterwards saying "We're jokin'!" and give a high five as if they insulted them. Ya'know, like when Michael on That 70's Show would say "Burn!".
@Tigertom53.
PS4 uses Blutooth. It can send audio through the controller.
You don't need to plug a blutooth device into any current generation console. That is what blutooth is about...
Edit: Not to mention the PS4 controller has a speaker inside of it..
@Thrust
And that proves you are deluded if you think owning both makes you an expert.
More PS3 games use dedicated servers. Meaning better connections, no host dropping, more players in game, more stable, etcetera. That is a fact. More 360 games use peer to peer, even the bigger exclusives do and that is how things like lag switches worked and why hosts have a better chance of doing better then everyone else. That's quite odd that your money wasn't go...
It's almost completely closed when Microsoft basically shot down almost all indie devs for X1 while Sony was sending out free dev kits to tons of indie devs and even gave Notch a unique PS1 as a gift.
Notch rants a lot at times and he is becoming a hypocrite with X1. It runs on a modified W8. He insulted W8 because many developers had to adjust some of their game for compatibility issues even though there is no real difference provided between the platforms other then UI...
I'm gonna try it on my laptop with an A8-4500m processor and a 7670M + 7640G.
