Real gamers play games. They aren't limited to mainstream or hidden gems. WiiSports is a fun game. That is all a true gamer needs is a game to enjoy.

I think Metroid being so drastically different in gameplay style from its classic days counts, sorta.

I agree with anyone that isn't Steve Ballmer.

Bluray offers very little? You are now invalid.

Storage space is everything when it comes to technology.

PS1 did not have DVD. It had regular CD-ROM. You were clearly talking about the PS1 and N64 era when you spoke of cartridges.

PS2 DVD compared to the PS1 CD-ROM is a good example of PS3 bluray to PS2 DVD. The storage space is a world of difference, literally it can allow more game worlds.

Bluray doesn&...

The controller takes like 20 minutes to recharge. You can plug it into more then just the console and I'm pretty sure you can charge your controller on standby.

Ew. Just the way you try and insult it like that is disgusting. So ignorant.

You game like it is before 1999. Rechargeable batteries are found in offbrand controllers now. You are just letting microsoft force you to pay even more money to them, unless you want to take the more expensive approac...

Yea. Like that doesn't happen with MS fanboys. You are probably one if you come here just to insult a general population of people.

The Cloud can be done on PS4. So easily. As far as we know there is going to be more cloud-based gaming on PS4 with Gaikai. The Cloud we hear about where the world still goes when you aren't on your console is just a dedicated server.

@xJumpManx

Bluray is an extremely important factor. MGS4 was exclusive because only Bluray could fit that game and it still needed a few installations.

Bluray isn't something that gets in the way. It doesn't make you adjust, unless you hate seeing more robust and high definition content.

Almost everyone wanted Bluray. There is no reason not to.

Don't forget there console came with wifi inside, rechargeable bat...

It's about comfort, not looks. Most people with hands on experience say the PS4 pad is better. It is also designed for more hand sizes. Wait till you play with both if you are using that to decide your console.

I for one hate the asymmetrical analogs and the rounded face buttons and then it still takes batteries. I'm not in the mood for switching out batteries or buying a recharge kit.

Pretty sure a controller is all around more friendly then a camera with potential mess ups in voice recognition and having to prop yourself up to do gestures and for having to teach your whole family the gestures and voice commands.

Controllers are family friendly too. It is well established to be that.

You never speak anything bad about XBox One when it is just an abomination. Make a "family friendly" console? Right. They denied indie developers....

They sold PS3 at a loss. Yeah, that was so rude. Selling $800 machines with Bluray for only $600 when the next thing up was at least $1000 for only a bluray player that had worse support and quality.

How does a sane person let a corporation that already rips off customers with terrible quality for company worth get away free of them trying to sell us an inferior, terribly built piece of hardware that was designed around company profit and control? Not to mention backed by terrible PR agents who disrespect their own customer. Steve Ballmer is to Microsoft what George W Bush is to America. Terrible leaders that just say a bunch of stupid things and do nothing. No efficiency whatsoever, noth...

I think that it's because GameStops just don't have enough room inside their storage rooms for all the PS4 preorders they have been getting. You could build another storage room with all the boxes.

MMO's are mainly run on the servers hardware for player amount, Not that much is really put onto the computer. You understand so little about this whole topic. The only decent argumnt is the controller having less buttons for skill assignments, which is not entirely true. FF14 is coming to PS3 and I am pretty sure the 360 as well and it looks tons better then most MMO's. Others are DC Universe Online, Phantasy Star Universe, Elder Scrolls Online, and Champions Online. MMO's can ru...

Their "dev kits" at e3 were gaming PC's, even in popular pc gaming cases. Pretty sure according to the super high specs of those pc's and the kind of build and opposing brands used for the parts they weren't true dev kits.

@cayleee

That is why we see games like Uncharted, Killzone, and The Last of Us run much better on a PS3 then BattleField does on a PC that has "comparable" specs?

That might apply to certain third party games but not the whole library. I'm definitely sure running games that look great that well on 512 MB's of RAM alone sure speaks when games generally use far more then that on a PC.

The definition of optimization doesn't...

Indeed. The Vita would have been a great tool for controlling Metal Gear Mark II in MGS4 for sure.

I can see codec calls coming from the speaker on the PS4 controller and possible uses for its touch pad.
