I'm seeing the connection! Guybrush/Fry - Nerdy, bumbling, bit of a coward, yet slightly ingenious. Elaine/Leela strong and sensible female character who takes on the dominant role in the relationship. Good thinking dude :D

At least in some areas the PC is still moving forward regardless of consoles - 3D. Now obviously it will come to consoles eventually, but NVidia's 3D Vision has been out for over a year and is simply incredible. Real depth in games completely changes the experience for the better, and I'm so glad that I'm a PC gamer and get to enjoy this tech now rather than later.

I think the reason there isn't a tool kit for ME is because of the saved games carrying over. Having modded save games could cause many conflicts when transfering them from one game to the next.

I respect that you didn't enjoy the game, but of all the things to criticize: the voice acting?! The Mass Effect games hands down have the best voice acting I've ever heard in a game. Truth be told I don't like male shepard's voice acting at all, very flat. But on the other hand female shepard is the incredible. And what about Thane, or Tali, or Martin Sheen!?

I find it especially shocking that you praise Bethesda games when voice acting is so important to you. Oblivion is...

It seems a lot of people don't understand what this screen offers. Many PC gamers have been waiting months for a monitor capable of Nvidia's 3D Vision http://www.nvidia.com/objec... that is larger than the first gen 120hz monitors.

I've read some of the early reviews, and it seems like Acers new 24" 120hz monitor (soon to be released) is superior, and cheaper.

Most games can support it, but some preform better than others. I cannot wait to explore Rapture in 3D. The original was immersive enough in 2D, imagine what Rapture will be like with a sense of depth!

Whilst I'm sure the maps will all be well designed for 32 players, I too hope that the community can mod it to allow for 64 players. The chaos and carnage of a 64 player BF2 game is gaming bliss!

You're obviously new to keyboard + mouse gaming for FPS's. My girlfriend (fiancee now!) tried Bioshock with me when it came out and had great difficulty reaching the right keys and getting her pinky to crouch etc. It just takes a bit of practice to build up the stamina in your fingers that's all! Anyway some time later she tried Killzone 2 and just couldn't get on with it at all, due to the frustration of aiming with a controller. Mouse all the way!

Yeah? I had the original Tropico years ago and enjoyed it, but was a bit sceptical about this new one. And now I'm totally engrossed in Mass Effect 2 I have no need for it... But damn you steam your deals are too tempting!

Or you could just play as a hunter in WoW and do exactly that :P

Cataclysm will "offer fans something new"... O RLY? Only the basic info in this article, and it's what was revealed at Blizzcon many months ago.

I suspect so. If you get into an mmo the subscription is a small price to pay for the hours of entertainment you get out of them through the endless stream of new content.

You obviously don't know anything about the lore of the Warcraft universe. So shut up.

Ok, so WoW is 5 years old and the textures and models aren't on par with Crysis/Uncharted2 what ever. But anyone who's flown high above Ice Crown or Howling Fjord or Sholzar Basin will testify that it is a beautiful game. The incredible scale and draw distance, and the incredible art design and color palette make it beautiful, even though it runs on an old engine.

I became a believer when I first saw Terminator 2 3D at Universal Studios Florida in 1996. Anyone else who's witnessed it will know what I'm talking about! Oh and MuppetVision 3D is awesome too :D

Fair enough, but your opinion could change after experiencing it. I simply cannot explain how much of a game changer it is! I have to admit I have trouble watching 3D films because I wear glasses (short sighted), but it's not an issue for gaming as the monitor is close enough.

5282d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Why are so many opposed to wearing glasses? If made well they can be comfortable and unobtrusive. I've been using Nvidia's steroscopic 3D Vision http://www.nvidia.com/objec... for PC and the glasses don't get in the way at all.

3D in games is such a dramtically more immersive experience that even if the glasses were uncomfortable, I'd still find it hard to go back to 2D. It's the future, trust me...

KOTOR II wasn't made by Bioware. They handed the reins over to Obsidian for that one, hence why it's not up to the standard of the first.

Great comments Pandamobile. In many articles you're the voice of reason. There are so many ignorent gamers out there who feel the need to choose a side whether it be Sony/Microsoft/PC and defend it fervently. I'm a multi plat gamer, I love my consoles, but the lack of understanding and respect for PC as a platform is baffling. Why so much hate? As consoles are gradually becoming PC's gen after gen all of their ignorent comments will become contradicted as the tech that they flamed become...

I'm waiting for the first 24" 120hz lcd monitor to be released. I'm desperate for Nvidia's 3D Vision but don't want to downgrade to a 22".
