How is this article not relevant at the mo? The latest Fallout 3 DLC has JUST been released, and the modding community are continually adding new content which in my opinion surpasses the official DLC.
Yes yes! Just in time. I just got my new alt to level 60, so I can get my (cheap) flying mount straight away!
You'll have to sue all Spanish speaking countries for having Tropico as there word for Tropic. That is if your company was created before all those countries exsisted? :)
Looking forward to this, I had Tropic 2 back in the day.
I'm a lucky owner of that Alienware desktop, except mine has a black finish. Looks the part, but I could have got a lot more for my money if I'd built myself. You pay a huge premium for having such a cool looking PC.
With Blizz currently developing a non-warcraft universe mmo, that must be in it's early stages of development, I'd be very very suprised if they managed to get a WoW sequel out by then! Would be nice though!
^^ Mass Effect on PC is great. Runs smoothly and haven't noticed any bugs. Altho there is a slight issue with texture pop in, but I believe that has to do with the game's engine itself. And being an RPG, it's best on PC because of being able to use a mouse to navigate inventory and hud.
About what you said about PSN and XBL being more social... What about Steam? Or MSN? Or Skype? Or Ventrillo?
This is a great fit IMO. I imagine Sam Raimi is geeky enough to "get" what the fans want from a WoW movie. His latest flick, "Drag Me To Hell", proves that he's still a seriously skilled director/cinematographer/edito r.
I've finished it on PC already. Well worth getting, clever platforming and action that never becomes frustrating. And the presentation is incredible!
Gotta love the PC gaming community. Visit http://www.fallout3nexus.co... for a huge collection of all the best mods. Check out Real Time Settler, a mod that allows you build and manage your very on settlement anywhere in the wasteland, just like an RTS.
Downloaded this game on Steam last week, it's brilliant. I strongly recommend it!
I suspect most ppl looking forward to D3 are excited about finally seeing some of the talent trees, I know I am. And this is a Blizzard game, therefore if you don't know patience then your going to be pissed off with "this crap" for some time yet :)
"They did Wallace and Gromit without even trying to look like claymation"
What do mean? They made it look exactly like the real thing. They even rendered finger print marks on the characters to make it look as if they were really clay.
With regards to the 3D in Monkey Island, I personally like it, but can understand why some ppl miss the classic hand drawn LucasArts style.
Hurray for Telltale Games! I'm so glad Guybrush is back!
Indeed, I think L4D deserves all the praise it gets for being an intense and polished co op experience. I think that, as with all online games, that some ppl don't enjoy it as much as others. In other words -
Playing alone = boring
Playing online = fun
Playing LAN surrounded by close friends = ludicrously fun!
No story? WoW has the most richly created lore of any gaming universe that springs to mind. Just because you don't read anything doesn't mean it lacks story.
No LeChuck?!!
^^^ They have hundreds of staff to focus on many different projects all at once. If all that staff were to devoted to Diablo 3 then it could be a bad thing. Too many chefs in the kitchen.
That could cause harassment I think. Some WoW players are immature enough to spam members of the opposing faction just because they can.
So it's a new IP then. Hmmm wonder what it could be. It can't be sci-fi, I would have thought they'd just use Starcraft if they were going to go in that direction. And obviously it won't be fantasy again. What could it be?!
My money's on it being either an assassin or a hunter type class.
