I'll bet 75% of the gamers who visit this site spend a similar amount of time on various other games per week. What's the difference in playing this one particular game for 20 hours a week? Hypocrites. Gaming is a great, time absorbing hobby, and enjoying it doesn't mean one can't have a "normal" life.
I think the main point here is that you have an account with a gaming news website where you make comments. That would make you a sterotypical nerd in most non-gamers eyes. Anyway, since when was nerd or geek a derogatory term? I'm proud to be a game geek, as are many ppl here, so get off your high horse and stop acting like a jerk.
I played Fallout 3 with a hardcore survival mod, similar to this. Gotta tell you, it completely changes the experience in a good way. Do yourself a favor and choose Hardcore mode when you start up New Vegas.
Good MMO's are wonderful experiences. Joining a guild, making friends, and taking on huge boss encounters together beats the hell out of any single player experience I've ever had. Even the brilliantly told KotOR games. Why not give Old Republic a chance when it's released (granted that Bioware deliver)? Or are you a console only gamer with no real MMO experience?
So the devs should have released their rubbish game on 360 if they wanted it to sell more? So you're saying 360 users are more likely to buy crap games, and are therefore idiots.... Hmm can't fault your logic there.

Ain't that the truth. All of my pc gaming friends also have either a 360, PS3, or both. Whilst their are many newer generation gamers who have only ever owned a console (yet they still pass judgement on pc gaming sadly)

I heard about this in PC Gamer UK quite a few months ago. I was under the impression that it'd be an adventure game similar to Monkey Island, Sam & Max etc. If that's the case then this would be my dream game.

Indeed. Unless keyboard + mouse control is REQUIRED for play, and unless there is some sort of way users can make GUI mods on PC and port them to LIVE or PSN then I can't see how it would work.
Anyone know how many copies WoW has sold? I know there are around 11 millions subscribers currently, therefore they must have shifted 20million boxes over 5 years. And that's not including the 2 expansions!

Consoles now have operating systems with internet browsers and media players etc. Even hardware upgrades are now part of owning a console with hard drives. It will only be a matter of time before they have performance upgrades as well. Anyone remember the N64 expansion pack!?
I'll but getting this for my PS3, but as a pc gamer I can't resist asking - didn't console only gamers used to argue that consoles were better than PC's because you could just pop in the disc and go with none of this installing stuff?
Whilst I think Blu Ray is a great technology I don't think it'll have a long run. In my opinion everything will become digital in the future. As long as broadband speeds and download services continue to improve then...
All PC gamers I know have either a Xbox360, PS3 or both. However there are a lot f console gamers who don't have or have never even owned a gaming PC. So who's loosing out on the most exclusives?
