Those are the same cheats for The Sims 2... I doubt they're for a game which is still many weeks away from release.

If the economy were doing better I'd guess that ppl would embrace it quicker. But it wouldn't suprise me if it becomes the norm and the next gen of consoles has full steroscopic support as standard.

I agree. It's incredibly in depth yet still accessible for the non hardcore. And the real time battles are epic.
Are you suggesting the console iterations of The Sims are comparable to the PC versions? The console versions have all been very basic spin offs, whilst the pc version is the definite version with huge sandbox gameplay and a ton of user created content.
Judging from the screens this appears to be a sort of melee arena/deathmatch game rather than a full blown open world rpg. Time will tell. The only RPG I'm looking forward to at the mo is DragonAge. Can't wait for Bioware's return to the fantasy genre.
Some of those images (not all) are staggeringly realistic IMO. There's no way someone impartial (a non gamer unaware of crysis) would have the slightest hint that some of those images aren't real.
I hope more devs take note of the success of TellTale Games. We need an adventure game renaissance, where all the original LucasArts team get together and make new a Monkey Island and Grim Fandango!
I don't think many PC gamers are itching to get their hands on this map pack. I got bored of COD after COD2, Modern Warfare did nothing for me and I didn't bother getting COD5. And I don't see what those PS3 games have to do with any of this. Unless you're just an idoitic fanboy... Oh yeah that's probably it.
why do PC gamers get this for free. It's why do console gamers actually pay for it? Granted that we're just talking about a few maps here; I'd happily pay for something new and worthwhile that the developers have labored over. The point is pc gamers have been getting free content like this for years from devs and user content, so when this devs started charging for it it seemed ridiculous.
When it comes to flight sims that's usually the case due to the range and quality of peripherals available. Saitek and Logitech are great. Plus there is a massive community of flight sim modders for the pc. Hell there's even a popular monthy flight sim magazine.
It's frustrating yes, but I'm sure they didn't do it for nothing. If the game still needs perfecting then they can take all the time they need. I have high hopes!
Aye Raven Shield was awesome, the maps were all great. I still prefer SWAT4 over it though.
With Bioware at the helm I can't imagine this from being anything but brilliant. We'll see. Also can't wait for DragonAge!
I agree BF2 definately needs to be on there, it's epic. Anyone ever play SWAT 4? Awesome but often overlooked tactical shooter. Way better than any of the Rainbow6 games. It had so much atmosphere, and it was great the way you could finish a mission without any casualties on either side.

Too colorful? You do know that GTA3 was not the first of the series yeah? The look is great, just like the classics. I'm sure there is lots of blood, I mean it's not like they're gonna sensor that when they've got you dealing drugs and such.
I have a PS3, 360 and a high end PC. I bought the 360 because I couldn't wait for GTA4 it to be released on PC. And I bought the PS3 later on for LBP and eventually KZ2...
Now I think the PS3 is a great machine, and a very powerful one at that, but for me personally it does not compare to the PC gaming experience. Everyone raves about LBP's inventiveness and tools for making your own levels. It's great but it doesn't match the creativity of many PC game exclusive communitie...
I wouldn't say less casual. Just less time managing their bladder and more time managing their careers and relationships etc. Sounds like a great change to me.
Out of curiosity do any of you guys know the numbers for LotR Online? I've heard that it has a pretty substantial and loyal fan base and is a great alternative to WoW?
It's one of the best, if not THE best multiplayer shooter of all time. And it's still immensely popular because of that. Similar to CS.
