And with Steam you can enable the DS4 gyro for fine tuning aim which is an advantage over just thumbsticks. Xbox controller don't have gyros.

No steam controller fans? Touchpad + gyro > thumbsticks for competitive play against m/k, right?

You can can connect with Bluetooth even without an adapter, right? The later versions of the DS4 will also recognize the microphone input via Bluetooth which is nice

One could build a simple neural network and have it run on anything. I think it's more of a software challenge than a hardware one, and I'd be hard pressed to think of situations in games that warrant that level of complexity. Even having your streetfightrr opponent start to predict your next move would be easier to do with rules imo. If it got really hairy that probably would be a good candidate for offloading to the cloud.

What if this Hellpoint developer is having fun trolling whoever writes this garb... er.... content?

Ok GamingBolt isn't for real. I'm convinced now. They've been trolling us.

A survey like this implies it's further out imo. If they're releasing product in 2019, things should be mostly set by now.

@starchild, it isn't unheard of for companies to pay for native advertising ( https://www.nytimes.com/201... and Forbes specifically has started doing this, even putting an ad on their cover making it look like regular content. Even if it's not as blatant as native advertising, the bias has existed by big companies pressuring news outlets by controll...

Those first reviews can really make or break a game's reputation for a lot of gamers (like No Man's Sky and Sea of Thieves). Maybe they're being super-cautious because of that.

Journalists / writers typically choose their words carefully, especially on the headlines. This headline doesn't say how they COULD win the next console generation. It tells you how they will win. It's either engineered as click bait or to manipulate you into thinking it will happen. Either is not cool from a "journalist", and Forbes has posted 3-4 of these types of articles in a week or two. It's just good to keep an eye on the media...

Third or fourth Forbes MS puff piece in just a few weeks? More native ads?

Knew Forbes was doing native ads but this is ridiculous.

A good reminder that you don't "own" those games you "purchase". You're paying to have rights to access their content on their terms. I think digital rights have a ways to go before they're customer friendly. The platform holders have us by the short hairs.

Amen to that, brother. I would be more worried if I thought Verizon had a chance of pulling this off in a way that gamers found desirable. I think whatever they come up with will be rough and lack the whole ecosystem console gamers have come to expect.

I agree, I don't blame him. But I gotta blame his mother for that mug... J/k ;-)

Ugh. Every little tweet this guy makes turnes into an article with a picture of that...smile....

I don't think this has anything to do with Steam. This is about engines/tools.
