They're doing fine. It may not be #1, but they're selling plenty of consoles, and they are decent consoles this gen. The 360 was a dog, but I prefer my X1S to my PS4.

Is that the full extent of the PS4 Black Friday sale? I hope not - that would be disappointing. I already have a PS4 and just bought a X1S bundle today from Amazon. MS is having a great sale on over 500 Xbox games with many half off or more. I hope Sony does something similar for Black Friday.
I think it's safe to say we agree to disagree. I've seen the comparison videos, and to many of us, the difference is very minimal. But if you want to spend more than twice as much for a very slight graphical upgrade, be my guest. I'm happy to have saved over $300 which I'll be able to apply to the XB2 when it gets released, quite possibly in only a couple of years from now.
Given that the graphical difference is so minimal, I would strongly recommend that anyone interested in buying a XB1 just stick with the X1S instead and save over $300. FYI, all X1S bundles are on sale at Microsoft's website starting at $229 for 500GB bundles. I just picked up the Forza Horizon 3/Hot Wheels expansion bundle which is also available at Amazon and Best Buy now as well. Xmas starts early this year! ;-)
Hopefully, they'll be adding a whole lot more games on sale after the 21st, because that's a pretty short list so far. I own both a PS4 & PS3, but am planning on buying a X1S during Black Friday to try out some Forza titles. I joined Xbox Live Gold for early access to their sale items, and I think they have over 500 games on sale, some half off or more.
Some great buys: a month of Xbox Live Gold for $1, racing titles as low as $12, Forza Horizon 3 for only $25. Movies & TV shows on sale too. Transporter 1&2 bundle for $7.99.
Would be nice to get some details on games that will be on sale. Oh well - I'll be patient for now.

I'm enjoying GTS, but PD has some work to do:
1. They obviously need to add more cars & tracks
2. Adding a course maker and/or open area(s) to drive/race in would be a big help
3. They need to add the ability for players to add their own graphics to the livery editor
4. We need a way to edit the music playlist
5. They need to add ways for the pictures we take in-game to be utilized: as a background in the game - either a single pic or slide...
I wouldn't say the roster of cars is the only thing holding it back - the roster of tracks is also a bit lacking. It would help greatly if they added a course maker and/or open world areas to drive/race in. But the game certainly has plenty of potential and I am enjoying it.
Sold more than all other racers combined? Highly unlikely. It will sell a decent amount, but not sure it will be more than FM7. Many are interested in NFS Payback, and it's available on both platforms, so it will have high sales numbers. And FH3 has been out all year, so it may have the highest numbers of all by the end of the year.
My internet is stable. Server being down doesn't really affect me since I really only play the arcade mode offline anyway.
As much as I wanted it to have a full preformatted single player campaign myself, the fact that the arcade mode awards you in-game credits is more than adequate in this respect. I do agree that the game does need to expand its roster of cars and tracks, and Kaz has already said that this will happen, so anyone who buys the game now just needs to be a little patient.
What part of "my PS4" do you not understand? I'm not saying it's a bad console - I've had plenty of fun with it. But qualitatively speaking, I think the X1 console is a bit better. My X1S is quieter than my PS4, and gives me more music app options than my PS4. What's that old advertising adage about #2 trying harder? And I'm not exactly a fan of MS, but I have to give credit where credit's due to be fair.
