Sorry, but how is this bonus content? You have to pay extra for it by buying a special edition of the new game, so it's only bonus in the same way that buying a brand new game from fresh is bonus content. I love Modern Warfare, it was a shining example of how to make a good modern-style FPS game - something that Activision seemed to have quickly forgot - and if they had released it separately I would have already prepurchased it.

However, they have locked it behind edit...

It makes sense that they will do this again. Possibly bring more people back into the multiplayer, it seems to work and I don't think it's really much of a gamble. There's so much at E3, while having an event solely of your own will draw more attention.

On Infinite Warfare though. It's just another CoD, a series that has been stale a long time now. Hopefully they can improve on it, but I've just got my doubts. If I buy it, it'll be late after release...

From what i've seen it makes me think of a more detailed version of Spore's end-game. Particularly the variety of animals made up from what is effectively bric-a-brac parts.

It only makes sense. Particularly so after the recent attacks that have been increasing across Europe. Germany in particular.

This is sounding good. Particularly being a very open space and one you can head back to places already visited.

Increased support in the opticals, combined with the decreased power requirements is brill. Hopefully the case will do what it looks to have been designed for, increase airflow and aid in dissipating heat. That's my major concern for the console.

So they're just repeating lines that every game exec has repeated
countless times. I genuinely believe that man will live on Mars before a
giant publisher like Ubisoft, EA, Activision and their ilk will
actually hold a game and make sure it's 'perfect' before releasing it

Or, to put it in simple terms: It'll never happen.

It's a huge game. To expect it to be bug free would be silly. Early patches and support will be the key thing!

A great lineup. I'm fairly happy the VII remake isn't on. I know for a fact I'll get it but I dread to see what changes are going to be made. I just don't trust them to just make it look better.

On this lineup, outstanding. Hopefully they'll all turn out well, but just on names alone it's huge.

I'm mostly with Mostafeto, only I openly admit I can't even push myself to buy a CoD game unless I can get it 75% off. The last one I genuinely think was worth a new purchase was Blops. They just all feel like reskinned versions of the same game, this sadly looks no different. Damning when you see how far from the norm BF1 is going.

Well to be honest I would expect a topdown like this to run at full on both consoles. Now hopefully it will be able to capture some magic like Helldivers did and make good of itself!

Some are happy, others not. What matters is the pricing and if the games actually divide the market. If the pricing is that of a new console then I imagine a harsh division will form in console gaming, especially if they become frequent.

This style of writing and adapting to Troy's take on Joel certainly worked for TLoU.
I don't doubt that writing a full story beforejand also works in some games too, though this type and the mixture in mechanics seems to have demanded the approach.

Only natural that the PSVR would be behind. It's restricted by the PS4 so wont acheive as much technically. No shock that the PS4 dominates as a console thpugh.

Well I can't understand that in the slightest. Mods don't hurt a game developer in any way. Hell, the majority of mods are looked favourably on by developers because they improve the games and breathe extra life into them, at zero extra cost. They're even a selling point at times.

Games aren't paintings either.

Krypt: I'd love for you to prove it. I've looked around online and I can't find any verification of legitimate mods other than changing settings in a pre-existing file. Even then, in many games on UWP people haven't even been able to do that due to how restrictive it is.
You say that people don't do their research, but we are, and all evidence points to zero modding support. You're in a position where you can prove it with a simple screenshot or two.

I can understand where he's coming from. He got his start by taking control of an already failed action-rpg project, he turned it round and made Demons' Souls. This led to DS. It only makes sense that he'll remember the origin and be willing to take risks.

Well, I've watched all the comparison videos and honestly, they're barely noticable. Honestly, I can't really understand the furore. The slight shading on her breasts were integral to the game now?

At the same time, i can't understand Capcom patching them out. But the outrage that they did, that's even less understandable. Also, the argument by some that it's somehow a downgrade is preposterous. The game hasn't been downgraded. Then again, it won...

If that's the case then I'm happy to be corrected! I just remember it being the case with the Tomb Raider release and one or two others.

Sexualisation will always have a place, everywhere. It's making it fit though. I'll never see the need for games like Blade & Soul where breasts bounce around like they're made of rubber, and the armour is conveniently cut to highlight that fact. It's a fantasy-action RPG. At the same time, Bayonetta is very sexualised, but it's thematically relevant and explained, plus she uses it to her advantage. Even Lollipop Chainsaw was a hyper-sexualised game, but it fit ideally...
