It is good to hear, the details on DX12 do make it sound like it should be a massive improvement.
It's easy for MS to say that, I'm sure they said the same about 10 and 11, but it never really worked out that way. Though I have to say, the use of integrated graphics as a boost is a brilliant feature.
I've been at the stage of "Fed up" with Call of Duty and the mass amounts of DLC, high priced at that, and no real value to it. Well, I suppose there's some value if you play the MP religiously, but that's about it.
Still a shame that it's become so prevalent. I'm just expecting another bland samey FPS.
I'd love this to be the case, what with it being a game backed by the community and not a core publisher run development. Still, it's had it's delays, we'll have to wait and see!
Well, that's if it is a screeny tbh! It is probably from a cinematic or something along those lines. Don't get me wrong though, I'd adore it to look that good.
That's the next step for DICE really. Battlefront was awesome, DICE making a proper new Battlefront game will be awesome.
No guarantees that it is the difference, of course, but you never know!
Saw a box for it in my local Game today actually. No details about it but this doesn't surprise me, next logical step for JC - Random Events!
Really am looking forward to this. Prepurchased a bit back. Open world Geralt, monster hunting and woman seducing, could it get much better?
I remember importing Demon's Souns, loved it. Dark Souls, loved it. Dark Souls 2, loved it. I'm seeing a pattern emerging and these screenshots are making Bloodborne look very similar, thematically, to the Souls' franchise.
I would like to see such as Forza on the PC. It's about time big franchises weren't held hostage on Sony of MS' bloody consoles, let us PC gamers get what we deserve!
Gaming news gets a bit silly doesn't it. There are announcements about announcements now. Soon, There's going to be an announcement saying that in a few days there'll be an announcement that's going to announce that a few days later there'll be a news story!
Oh, the hype!
But really, Looking forward to Phantom Pain. I imagine it will be the release date as well as CE contents.
With Ground Zeroes released as it was, it was obvious that TPP was going to be quite a while away. We'll just have to see how it turns out.
Ooh, we'll actually have some actual tomb-raiding here then! Hah.
Well, a great game the previous ones and when tomb-raiding was actually done I enjoyed it, it'd be nice to see more of it and a bit more challenge and thought put into it.
I'm a fan of JRPG's and it does look from their Kickstarter that they've got some work done and progress behind it, but I'm very sceptical over the Xbone & PS4 stretch goal.
To put that as a stretch goal is very iffy to say the least, considering they would surely be able to get the extra $16,000 (through a deal with Sony or MS) that they have put over the initial target for those editions.
I imagine a lot of it will just be oversight by Sony on the list, then again - delays aren't usually announced nowdays until after the release day, hah.
The question will be what Witcher 3 does to alter this. I doubt that it'll be free of fetch quests though, even unknowingly a number of quests eventually morph into that sort of thing.
It's a decent sort of progression. I quite liked Dragon's Dogma, though it was a bit shallow. Makes sense in a MMO sort of setting - not a giant leap needed.
What will matter is how the money is made. I imagine the pawn system will return and a lot of the microtransactions will be based around that.
Can't wait for Witcher 3 - Should test my PC's limits! hah. Got to look forward to a more active open world in this universe though.
It's a good thing, don't get me wrong, but makes little sense for them to make Bards Tale 4 when they pretty much rebooted Bards Tale back in the 2000's - even if they didn't call it a reboot. Name was the same!
