Personally I can't help but prefer the more streamlined story-driven games a-la Dawn of War 2. base building is just so 1990's...
looks like someone has only one bubble for a reason. Please. Can't really compare this thing with any AAA PS3 exclusive or even with Halo Reach.
Metal Gear Solid 4 looked better, and it's been released two years ago.
As usual Metal Gear > Splinter Cell. Like it's been at every round.
Hell, I'd gladly play Peace Walker on the PSP over this.
The graphics do look kinda dated, but hopefully the game will be fun. For sure nothing to lose sleep over, though.

Owned :D
meh, i really need to stop writing Asus when i mean Atlus. Mind you, I typed Asus in the original title of the article too. Blogger Fail :D
Actually, this site isn't dedicated only to NEWS. If you've ever tried to submit a piece, you'll notice a convenient list of categories that's much more extensive than just "news", and guess what? There's one named "Article" like there's one for reviews for instance (and reviews aren't news).
So yeah, there's plenty sanctioned room for editorials and opinion pieces on N4G. Don't like it? Make your own aggregator site.
Get it? :D
"How is a girl gamer different from any other girl?"
I'd say identity of Interests is always a great asset in a couple. Of course there can be plenty interests in common with girls that care nothing about gaming, but one more is a plus, I'd say.
"How is a girl gamer different from any other gamer?"
That i'd date (and dated) one, while I wouldn't date a gamer without the "girl" bit? :D
It does look very interesting. I just wish that Asus started publishing their games in Europe regularly...
Luckily the PSP is region free, but having to import them is still an hassle.
well, she used not to be very "interactive" while gaming :D The only way to get some interactivity was to get into the game myself :D
Well, the only alternative would have been sitting there and watching her play :P
lol, back when I dated a pretty hardcore gamer, I simply used to haul my own 360 and a 22 inches monitor to her place, so she could play on her own, but still side by side. Good times for sure :D
Ahah, well, GamingAngels is a gamer girls community, at least there this kind of article has a place :D
Fun read, but do we really need a reason? let alone ten? :P
Actually, since teh announcement of the PSP Go there have been TONS of games announced and released dor the PSP, probably more and higher quality than what has been released for the DS. So I really don't see where this lame article comes from.
With games like Valkyria Chronicles 2, Hexyz Force, MGS Peace Walker and several others, there's a lot incoming too.
So I'm sorry but this article is just based on misinformation and false assumptions and gets the "lame&q...
The graphics are a tradeoff. There's less polygons used for the characters, but the environemnts are damn espansive, and they're beautiful to see. If you use a big part of your polygon allowance for a part of the game, then it's obvious that you have to lay a bit low with the rest.
Bioware did the same choice with Dragon Age (and their environments aren't even that big, and you can't see as far as in WKC).
It's an awesome game. I bought it, even if I feel a little dirty every time I play it for having supported a developer that cut a game during localization, something that wasn't acceptable in the nineties and is even less acceptable now.
I'm almost 100% sure it is, but the best thing would be if it's customizable with the same level of detail than your character. I mean, having an online game in which not only you can customize your character fully, but even your personal fantasy giant robot? Yes, thank you :D
@R_1993: You'r entirely wrong. There are 23 different missions at the moment (each of them repeated 3 times at varying ranks, for a total of more than 60) and more are added weekly by Sony (one permanent and one temporary).
Might want to get your facts straight, before writing, what about it? :D
Actually the pictures came with a lot of news today. The battle system has been revolutioned for number 2. It'll be much faster and many other actions, counters, dashes and such have added, so it'll be much more dynamic and fun.
I have the news here:

MGS4 looks leaps and bounds better than Splinter Cell, despite what foxgod drools as usual (who's surprised?), best part is that if the demo has to be taken as an actual indicator of final gameplay, it also plays leaps and bounds better.
You just need to look at the details of faces and hair to notice that, as it happened at every round, when the two franchise have come to be compared, Metal Gear beats down Splinter Cell to a pulp.
Can't beat the teacher yet, grasshopper.
