Seriously, it isn't even the same topic. ou didn't buy final fantasy XIII yet. It's not a matter of being fan of this or that brand. It's a matter of actually buying a game, thinking it's an exclusive, and maybe buying a console with it (because many gamers, expecially in Japan, couldn't care the less about the 360 if not for Vesperia and very few other titles), and then finding out that not only the game will be ported (which isn't even THAT bad in itself), but improved as well.

Sorry if that hurts your fanboyness, my friend, but as far as I know you didn't buy final fantasy XIII yet. It's not a matter of being fan of this or that brand. It's a matter of actually buying a game, thinking it's an exclusive, and maybe buying a console with it (because many gamers, expecially in Japan, couldn't care the less about the 360 if not for Vesperia and very few other titles), and then finding out that not only the game will be ported (which isn't even THAT bad in itself), but i...

That is true, but I feel that exceeding one year is really too much. Even Sega is normally faster, and that's saying it all..

Whomever fault it is, they seriously need to stem up their game with localizations... come on, more than a year is unacceptable nowadays.

Oh yes you do :D

Can't agree more. Unfortunately we'll have to wait for next year. I swear that if Level 5 makes us wait this much for WKC2 i'll be a very angry fellow.

My bad, I erroneously placed a link to the front page instead of the actual post: the real post for this story is here: http://classygamer.blogspot...
Unfortunately the problem became apparent only when I posted something else on top of it.

Can't change now that it's approved, so I added an update.
Again, sorry.
I would appreciate it if a modera...

The real reason to get the PC version is modding. In a month or two the game will already have a slew of new content and much improved graphics thanks to the modding community, something that will never be available on console. Honestly if you have a decent PC and buy games like this for PS3 or 360, you're ripping yourself off.

The creator is really well done, much better than what was available in NWN2 or Oblivion.

Also, seriously, don't get the console version. Simply don't. If your PC isn't old as crap, get the PC version. There's absolutely no reason for anyone to deprieve himself from the wealth of content and improved graphics that the modding community will bring to this game.

Too bad that it's a completely different genre? Demon's souls is great but has really nothing to do with DA:O.

the story of this game follows the first series, up to the fight against Raoh. But fear not, successful musou games (like Gundam Musou) always had sequels :D

Hopefully the younger (and ignorant) generations drooling on aberrations like dragonball and naruto will be finally shown what a real fighting anime should be like.

lol ndpad, when will you stop drooling your nintendo fanboy dribble?

Third parties simply target their games for Nintendo console simply according to Nintendo's marketing. Nintendo advertises only towards kids and extra-casual shovelware eating non-gamers. It's obvious that third parties produce only that kind of games.
The wii is NOT marketed as a console that would appeal to Core gamers. On the contrary, the usual Wii comercial would make any self-respecting core gamer cr...

LOL @ more healthy.

Wii play isn't the only piece of shovelware. Let's not forget wii music, wii fit, even wii sports can be easily identified as showelware.

Most nintendo franchises are overly childish anyway, and are often an insult to storytelling and core gaming even when they can't properly defined shovelware.

Why do you think other companies make only showelware for the wii? because of Nintendo's marketing, that's aimed on...

It has, and if the data are accurate it's truly an epic fail for Nintendo. Their first week of price cuts didn't even manage to beat the PS3 a month after theirs, and with wii-fit plus on top of it.

Not that this would unexpected. Nintendo's quality has gone down the drain and the customer base is starting to notice.

I'm convinced that the title must be sarcastic. There's absolutely nothing epic. If any, it shows how weak the crash physics are... come on, the cars hitting the wall and "sliding" over it like a guy on a skateboard?

Honestly if Turn 10 doesn't make a radical change to the final game their most touted and publicized feature will be the biggest epic fail of the game.

oh goodness. I commend the love and passion. It takes a lot of love and passion to stick with a brand like Nintendo that chose NOT to stick with actual gamers.
A lot of love and passion, or a lot of stupidity.

This said, the Wii has a LOT of non-gaming channels and features, they're half-assed, but they're there. They also produce a LOT of non-gaming titles (and i don't even mean casual games, i mean titles that are NOT games at all), so the poor sod should get his facts st...

Linearity is what allows for great storytelling though. If i have to chose between a linear campaign with awesome storytelling, or a free roaming sandbox world with a sucky story, my money is definitely on the first.

You mean this one? http://www.gametrailers.com...

It seemed kinda fair to me, all in all, maybe the mention on how "this is coming from this, this is copied from that" was a tad redundant, but oh well.

That's very possibly a part of the equation, but I'm not sure it's ALL there to it.
