Gotta love those scalpers!
Been watching their announcements today and it's all talk as usual.
"leaked"
More like planned hype marketing.
We are "boiling frogs". "A fool and his money are soon parted." I could go on. Where's the actual value? If any of us really wanted to bypass playing a game - you know, the actual reason for buying a game - simple FREE cheat codes used to bring all of us "I work hard and have a life" gamers time saving unlocks just fine before. Not seeing the difference except now they want to charge for cheats.
No thanks. I'll go to Vegas if mone...
And p2w microtransactions.
Tell yourselves and your fake journalists to "Please forget your console wars..." you click bait seeking ad whores. You along with all gaming sites are the ones fabricating drama for ad traffic.
Yeah well, you kids screaming the "this is all fine" encouragement since they started this win-lose tactic even after gamers paid FULL asking price for games asked for it. No you begged for it. And no cosmetic is NOT okay. No micro transaction PERIOD! Gamers paid all the money; they are ENTITLED to all the game! Or the company will fail like Ubisoft from lost sales as this trend slowly weeds out the low quality companies asking for too much money in attempt to coexist with grea...
Entitled. Yes I am. By law. As are companies who leverage every inch of the law to push unethical, anti-consumer practices right to the edge of breaking it. Sometimes they do break it but they have armies of mechanized lawyers to squeeze them out with relatively small fines or the judges with vested interests who let them go.
This is the only industry where this mistreatment of customers is acceptable. Not all gamers are entitled, egocentric children and teens as MS, ...
The hateful mobs are only about consoles. I own all the hardware for the best gaming experience. My PC can run my massive solidworks and math models amazingly, so why the hell would I not want to use it for games with that strength all on one platform? I also have Nintendo and Sony consoles because their exclusives are incredible.
Hardware is only a means to play games, not the games themselves, but that is irrational to the mobs of children. Us multi-platform gamers are...
Ditto as a PC gamer.
Of course it will. It's Ubisoft and their criminal execs.
And the media continues to fabricate division amongst gamers by platform. I fear many readers just glazed over that title and accept it; hoping I'm wrong. Simply stating that the game is very good and every gamer should play it is more than sufficient. But instead of simply stating an opinion about a game, they designed it to start "pick a platform side" tension in the comments. These bloggers are getting good at the stealth dramatic clickbait.
Jimmy Fallon helped them a ton with his excitement. One comment he made was something along the lines of, "We all grew up with Nintendo." Many Japanese devs have recently been making a return to old school form and if that is the case with the NS (along with the usual innovative Nintendo treats like shoulder buttons, rumble, and the analog stick debuts) then they will most definitely capture their target audience and hopefully more.
I may be in the minority, but...
Classic MS marketers, riding the hype of others' hard work, presentations, and products to flaccidly convey the perception of "hey us too!" - preying on uninformed consumers during the holidays. No company does business "unethics" like MS does it. Oh wait, forgot about their wife, EA.
Oh man here we go again, and fanboy armies and sponsored journalists will protect the companies that do it slamming anyone who vocalizes opposition.
I am one of the few who liked Knack, so I'm look forward to this - especially if co-op is better.
No they want ad clicks, which have been the death of any and all real journalism. They used to have to earn our subscriptions, the way news was delivered back in the day with news papers and only morons picked up tabloids. Now everything is click bait and tabloid driven. I will never visit one of these sites without an ad blocker wince they only create fabricated drama content with the purpose of getting ad clicks.
Oh now I am happy I am bought the hell out of this game, but I was going to buy without their opinion anyways. IGN employee bloggers fixate on the weirdest things. When they streamed FFXV no one watched (400 viewers while tons of others had 1000-6000+).
IGN needs to assign critics who will critique aspects with which the "target audience" will be happy and/or unhappy. It sounds like this person never touched an Ico game so they cannot speak to someone like me w...
