“Below Average Rewards” Players Give Their Final Thoughts On the Pre-Season Battle Pass in The First Descendant
With less than 24 hours remaining, players everywhere try to squeeze out as much Pre-Season content as they can. Some popular skins will be leaving us, and this is your last opportunity to get those Battle Pass rewards. Speaking of which, as the Pre-Season is coming to an end, players started giving their thoughts on the Battle Pass, debating whether it was worth the effort or not.
The Pre-Season Battle Pass Could’ve Been Better
On August 27, The First Descendant team posted on X a question “Who‘s reached LV.96?”, referring to the Battle Pass. They continue announcing that the Pre-Season Battle Pass is almost gone, and a new one will be joining us soon.
However, the fans started commenting their thoughts on the Pre-Season Battle Pass, now as it’s coming to a close. Unfortunately, the majority of comments are a bit negative. You get comments like “Need a better battle pass next time. Perhaps able to earn enough caliber within the battle pass to purchase next seasons?” by NateDuhGreat and “I’ve never seen a battlepass that didn’t come with a single operator skin, waste of money” by BallerNine9. Others continue, saying that the rewards are “below average at best”, and that they would’ve bothered more if the rewards were better.

On the other hand, some players were quick to point out that there were a couple of skins, hairstyles, and other cosmetics in the Battle Pass, as well as enough Caliber to get you halfway to purchasing the upcoming Battle Pass (if the price remains the same). They state that the game is still F2P and that it was only the Pre-Season Battle Pass, so having high expectations right from the get-go is a bit unrealistic.

What Can We Expect From the Invasion Battle Pass
At the moment, there is still no official information regarding the Season 1: Invasion Battle Pass. The fans are asking for more Skins and less Paints. One player even suggested that a Crystallization Catalyst and/or an Energy Activator would be awesome Battle Pass rewards and we wholeheartedly agree. Those two items are notorious for being a chore to get. The devs promised more information on August 28, so they may reveal something about the upcoming Battle Pass.
