Valorant Community Reassures a Returning Player
Everyone’s been there, sometimes when you take a break from a game, you just never return to it. Maybe due to burnout or just regular real-life stuff taking over, the next thing you know it’s been months since you played your once-favorite game. It can be overwhelming to return, as the game and its player base have grown a lot, and at times like these, your fellow players’ support will mean the world to you. Thankfully, the Valorant community has always supported its members.
One Player Shares Their Biggest Concern With the Community
It’s never easy admitting you need support, but one brave player shared their story with the Valorant community. This player took a long break from playing this game and they want to start playing it again. Unfortunately, there are Valorant players, as in any other game, who aren’t very forgiving, or nice to lower-level team members.
PresYapper4294 noted: “I want to get back into the game, but I’m nervous I’ll be called terrible. VALORANT was one of the first games I downloaded when I got a PC. I was really bad and a few teammates helped me during gameplay. I eventually stopped after my IRL friends, who don’t have a PC, couldn’t play with me. That was the end of that, but over the last year I was constantly watching VALORANT streamers play, and just liked being part of their communities”.
Long story short, this player’s friends were finally able to start playing the game recently. With a new love for the game, the OP returned, but they were unsure if the community would accept them. This player elaborated: “The thing is, I’m nervous about being called out since this is a comp gaming, and team communication is needed. I’ve seen how streamers react when they get a bad player and it’s not the best. I’ll still give it a shot, but I just don’t want to feel so nervous”.

Valorant Community Steps up and Supports the Player
Even though it doesn’t have the best rep, the Valorant community always does the right thing, in our experience. They stayed true to that and offered some much-needed support to the concerned OP.
One player, titusnick270, stated: “We all suck at some point. (Me it’s 85 percent of the time) haha. Play if you want, mute toxic teammates, and chat if you need to. When I’m having a bad game I’m just like chill out man, I’m only gold for a reason”.
Another player, ericjony, suggested: “Don’t think much about it and just boot up a game of Swiftplay. if you like the experience then continue playing, if you don’t then you can just stop. if your teammates are overly toxic over comms, just mute them. Once you’ve built up enough courage, start with unrated. if you want to dip your toes into ranked, then by all means go ahead”.
So, if you are struggling, don’t hesitate to ask your community for help. We promise you that someone will be there for you. You just need to be brave and take that first step, ask. Someone will gladly offer you help and some useful advice. Enjoy the game and see you out there. We’ll be the ones trying out Vyse.
