Imagine a world where Call of Duty Zombies meets Valorant. Sounds thrilling. A recent video on Twitter brings this epic crossover to life, and it’s nothing short of mesmerizing. In this fascinating mash-up, the intense FPS action of Valorant meets the undead horrors of Call of Duty’s infamous Zombies mode. Though both games hail from the shooter genre, their intersection in such a gameplay context is a novelty that only some would have envisioned.
What Exactly Happens in the Crossover?
In the video, we see a Valorant agent trapped in the eerie universe of Call of Duty Zombies, battling waves of the undead from the famous Black Ops series. The game has a Valorant touch but keeps iconic Call of Duty features like melee attacks, the handy Revive Soda, and a brief snippet of the Revive OST by Jack Wall.
Eagle-eyed fans might recognize the map as the Revelations from Black Ops 3. There are classic zombie groans, and we even hear the Valorant character voicing quotes from Tank Dempsey, a favorite from Call of Duty.
Who’s the Mastermind Behind This Mash-up?
All this magic is the work of Feta, who used Unreal Engine 5 to bring his vision to life. He employed tools like Uiana to get Valorant maps and UModel for other game assets. To top it off, ElevenLabs pitched in with voiceovers for the characters.
Interestingly, Feta found Unreal Engine 5 easier to navigate than Call of Duty’s scripting language, GSC.
The video has set Twitter on fire, racking up a massive 675,000 views and counting. But it’s not just fans who are impressed. Skin designer Vegod, who has partnered with big names like SypherPK’s Oni Studios, even praised the video.
Sadly, Feta has no plans to release the game due to potential copyright issues with Activision and Riot Games. But that hasn’t stopped fans from loving and admiring his innovative creation.
Though we might never see an official Call of Duty Zombies X Valorant game, this video offers a tantalizing peek into what could be. For now, fans can only dream and re-watch Feta’s incredible video.
