Episode 8 of Valorant is nearing its end. Episode 9 should start on June 25. There have been many speculations on what we could expect from Episode 9 since the new map was already released, and the Console beta has started. Maybe we’ll finally meet the mysterious new Agent? Maybe a cool bundle is in the works? Well, according to a leak, a very popular theme will grace the new Valorant bundle.
A New Leak Tickles Players’ Imagination
A very popular account, VALORANT Leaks & News, shared the details they acquired. They stated: “A few info about this bundle. Inspired by the Star Guardian universe in League of Legends. There are 4 different variants. There will be no different type of melee. This may or may not be the next bundle, but it will be released this year”.
Alongside, they posted a video of the Valorant devs talking about future bundles, just to be interrupted by a familiar sound. Yup, the fans instantly connected the sound to Star Guardian. In the following post, they reposted this information and stated: “Next bundle”. So we might get to enjoy this bundle very soon, after all.
Obviously, players experienced a lot of emotions. Kay said: “I thought one of the lines in the Battle Pass was already inspired by Star Guardian, but I’m excited to see an actual bundle”. Several players agreed, mostly stating how they were huge fans and simply couldn’t wait for Riot to confirm the leak.
Is Buying a Valorant Bundle Worth the Money
Unfortunately, most of the players were, well, concerned about the possible cost. A player, murrkie, said: “Valorant skins are ridiculously overpriced. Radianite is too expensive. When I buy a set it should by default be upgraded. It’s sad to spend 50 plus dollars on a bundle and the animations are just not available immediately”.
Another player, BartOseku, added: “I mean, a bundle for a couple of skins being worth the same as a AAA game is quite baffling. Yeah, it’s a luxury item but so is organic food for example and I still would have been angry if I had to pay outrageous amounts”.
Finally, 2Board_ noted: “It’s not a matter of can or cannot. I can afford the $100 bundles and not give a damn. Except I do give a damn because the frugal side of me wonders why the f**k some of these low-quality bundles cost $100 in the first place”.
As of the time of writing this article, neither the leak of the new Valorant bundle nor its price has been confirmed. Historically, the prices were always a little steep, but, if you truly like something, treat yourself. We’d say that enjoyment is the biggest reason why people play the games. Hopefully, this bundle will be a bit more budget-friendly so more people can enjoy it.
