The First Descendant Players Delighted That The Guys Are Getting Some Attention With the Latest Skins

The First Descendant new skins for Ajax, Blair and Enzo

It is no secret that the ladies of TFD are the main selling point. They get the most attention from the devs when it comes to cosmetics and players are no strangers to spending some Caliber (ie, real money) to get those skins. The only real downside is that the prices are a bit higher than what you’d expect for a simple cosmetic. On the other hand, the guys of The First Descendant are usually left with “token” skins.

Some of the Guys Got Awesome Premium Skins

On October 10, Halloween came to Albion and with it, we got a bunch of thematic Halloween skins as well as a few of the “regular” ones. As for Halloween, there are skins for Bunny and Gley, two female-only skins, and one male-only skin.

But, a couple of Premium skins have sneaked in as well. Ajax, Blair, and Enzo got some pretty awesome-looking new skins. Ajax’s Last Bastion resembles a suit of medieval armor, Blair’s Incineration Master has a white coat and a full-face helmet, and Enzo’s White Hawk, you guessed it, gives him a white suit of armor and a hawk-like helmet. All of them are priced at 750 Caliber (around $15).

As for the players’ reactions, the fans had this to say: “Ajax, Enzo and Blair are too good. Designing team cooked again” said PlainOldSimple1, “Leaving aside the female skins that we already know how they are, the male skins look pretty good.” said luisramirez193, and ‘Oh, love the Blair outfit!” added theheromentor.

The Fans Still Think Skins Are Overpriced

No matter how good the skins are, the majority of players are in agreement that the prices are way too high. As some players said, you can get yourself a new game for the price of one skin. “I was really looking forward to these skins and you guys did a fantastic job with the decorations but the prices are insane. Lower the prices please.” said EvoX_Nano, and “I love this game. But the prices of these skins are just too high. No one is gonna want to use 1 time use colors on 30 skin packs you have to get for each character. I’ll still play and buy skins here and there but this is a bit much. Thank you for hard work!” added HydranesX.

All in all, even though the skins are pricy, Nexon’s design team is really doing wonders here. As one player said: “…can’t wait to see what you guys cook up for Xmas!”
