Among the new features of the October 10 Update is the fan-favorite ETA-0 vendor. This adorable robot will turn your excess Blueprints into vouchers, which you can use to get different Blueprints (the ones you actually need) and more. This is a great way to “liquidate” dozens of unwanted Blueprints we all have. It even has the option to filter the Blueprints that you have duplicates of, so you can more easily sell your extras. But, it turns out that the filter was bugged and that it showed your Energy Activator Blueprints and Crystallization Catalyst Blueprints as duplicate items, and that led to the accidental selling of these valuable items.
Devs Removed The Register Duplicate Items Button from ETA-0
Nexon released a Hotfix on October 12, where they “removed the “Register Duplicate Items” button from the ETA-0 “Sell Blueprints” as it could cause accidental selling by including the “Energy Activator Blueprint” and “Crystallization Catalyst Blueprint” when registering duplicate items.”
They continue saying that “an improved method” is in the works, which will “make it easier to register duplicate item sales in the future.”
You’ll Get Your Activator and Catalyst Blueprints Black
If you are reading this, chances are that you accidentally sold your Activator and Catalyst Blueprints to ETA-0. But worry not, Nexon has a remedy for this situation. As stated in the Hotfix details:
“Descendants who sold the “Energy Activator Blueprint” and “Crystallization Catalyst Blueprint” between PDT 2024.10.11(Fri) 00:00 and the Hotfix 1.1.4b patch will have their items restored via in-game mailbox sometime next week. We will provide an update in this announcement once the restoration is complete.”
As you’d expect, the players are thankful for this and full of praise for the devs. “I actually sold my blueprints and only realized it. Good to know this is getting changed,” said TheAbbyswalker, and “I never seen a game dev go out of their way to do stuff like this” added omohaa.
Players selling/dismantling items by accident is a common occurrence in TFD. While they are adamant about not restoring the items that the players dismantled on their own, they do try to fix things when the mistake is on their part.
