The Traces Continue directly continues the quest line story from Bunny’s Follow Their Traces mission in The First Descendant. Once the first record is located, players will continue exploring what has happened with Bunny’s parents in this quest. Like Follow Their Traces, this quest is a rather easy mission to complete, if you know where to look. Read on, and we will explain how to do The Traces Continue quest and help Bunny uncover her past.
How to do The Traces Continue Quest in The First Descendant
To do The Traces Continue quest players must locate and listen to the second Record. The Traces Continue quest is located in Vespers, a part of the map that is unlocked during the main campaign. If players have not unlocked this, they must do this first, before continuing with Bunny’s questline.
Unlocking the Vespers region requires the completion of all the main missions in the Sterile Lands. After which a Stunning Beauty Void Intercept mission has to be done successfully, and that will unlock the Vaspers region. However, this is not the end, The Traces Continue quest is located in the Ruins part of Vaspers region. This part of the map is only unlocked after the first three main campaign missions are completed in this region.
Record Location
Once the Ruins part of the Vespers region is unlocked, the second Record can be located and claimed. Players can find the second record near the Void Fragment mission next to the entrance or exit to the Lumber Yard. You will see the ruin of a stone structure to the east of the Void Fragment mission.
The Record is located on top of a few arched columns. Using a grappling hook players can easily reach the top of the arched columns and claim the second record.
The quest is not finished yet, now players must listen to the Record by accessing the Record submenu tab in their Quest screen. The record’s name is Colon Emergency Orders, and listening to it provides more information on the fate of Bunny’s parents. Returning to Albion and speaking with Gley and Sharen will provide more information and unlock the next quest in the line named In Search of the Relic.
