Once Human is in the middle of the Season, with the seasonal wipe scheduled for August 20. That fact doesn’t prevent the Once Human community to strategize and share some tips for the next Season. Let’s find out what you should or shouldn’t prioritize in the following Season.
What Will the Players Do Differently Next Season?
As you’ve probably heard before, experience is the best teacher. One player, Connect-Current-80, listed the things they’d do differently. They stated: “Don’t spend farming ores/trees for hours. I mean, you can, but I have such a huge load of everything that it is overkill”.
This player added: “I won’t unlock every single Blueprint. I completely missed upgrading because I unlocked every single BP I found. Currently waiting for the next Wish Machine roulette. Also, not setting up a big farming operation because everything spoils in a day”.
Another player, scyllafren, contributed to the list. They noted: “Calibrate your weapons to +4 on every tier, as recycling them gives back all calibration mats, except energy link, which is easy to get. Do not ever spend Memetic Points on the Tungsten Pickaxe, but do get a Solar Drill as soon as you can”.
They offered some more advice: “Once you beat an area boss, go to the next area, get just enough new mats to craft your primary weapon on the new tier, calibrate it, and continue swapping out all equipment for the new tier”. We’ve actually tried this and we recommend it wholeheartedly.
Tips For the Best Approach to Specializations in Once Human
One of the most confounding aspects of the game has to be Specializations. Devoted Once Human players had some tips on how to ameliorate this aspect in the next Season. The OP recommended: “Waiting ’til 50 until I start Specializations (seems like a bad idea but the general idea is not to use anything which is only good for low level.)”.
Now, if you are confused about what the low level has to do with anything, let us remind you. A higher level means your pool of choices is bigger, meaning that some Specializations won’t be available before you reach a certain level. So, even if you make an informed decision on a lower level, you might miss out.
JazZero noted: “Wait on specializations unless they are something like Sulfur Chemist. Some Specializations are OP but they become even more OP if you get expert buffs with them. Get brewing as soon as it’s available and make sure the base is capable of making Purified Water”.
We’re definitely going to try some of these out, after all, we don’t want to repeat other players’ mistakes. Thankfully, this community has proven its value repeatedly so you can always ask your fellow players for some advice, they’ll gladly help. Now, the next Season won’t start for a while, so, why not experiment as much as possible? Join the Prime Wars, or try catching the Buzzy Bee, it’ll be fun. Most importantly, enjoy yourself.
