Gaining levels for a character in The First Descendant leads to greater and more powerful mods and weapons, so players should go on an XP farm run occasionally. Getting a Descendant from level 1 to 40 is not easy, luckily there are ways to farm more efficiently. Stay with us and in our guide, you will find the best ways to farm XP in the game.

How to Get XP in The First Descendant

The most common way to get experience in The First Descendant is to simply kill enemies in the game. Every enemy provides the Descendant with a certain amount of XP. This means the more enemies are killed the more XP is gained which leads to more levels for the Descendant.

In addition to killing monsters and enemies, players can get XP by doing main and side missions. Moreover, if players want to boost their XP gain, they can consider purchasing Descendant EXP Boost items. Depending on their duration EXP Boosters can cost between 175 and 575 Caliber, but will provide 30% more XP in a limited time.

The best way to gain XP fast in the game is to find a short mission with a lot of enemies and do it repeatedly. Missions like Albion Resource Defense in Kingston and Kuiper Mine Blocade in Sterile Lands are great for experience farms. However, there is a mission that will provide the best way to farm XP in the game.

Currently, the best way to farm XP in the game is to do a Void Fragment mission, located in the Fallen Ark part of the Fortress region. To get the most experience possible you should run a mission on the Hard mode. Moreover, after this Void mission is done there is a very small cooldown timer before it can be played again.

However, this specific Void Mission needs Electric damage to open, meaning Bunny or Sharen are the best choices. Because Electric ability is needed to start the mission, if players want to level up other Descendants they will have to create a party with one of the two Descendants mentioned. This will lower the overall experience gained but it’s not a big deal.
More people mean the mission will be finished sooner, which leads to more missions in the same amount of time. Now to the mathematics, running a mission alone rewards players with around 21,000 experience in less than a minute. However, if players are doing this in a team, they will be able to do this mission much quicker. Although sharing the XP with a team will give only around 18,000 experience. Considering that this mission can be started almost as soon as it ends, this provides players with an endless loop of XP farm.
