Restart your router

Before doing anything else, you should first check the Server status for the game. If the issue is not with The Finals’ servers, then the cause could lie in your connection. An inconsistent internet connection can cause bugs and errors like this one. Therefore, restarting your router can fix this.

Simply unplug your router from its power source and wait a couple of minutes before plugging the device back in. After the router boots back up you should try playing The Finals again and see if the Healing Beam bug persists.

Verify the integrity of game files

Sometimes bugs like the one affecting Haeling Beam can occur due to missing or corrupt game files. This can happen when the game receives updates and is usually nothing to worry about. Here’s how to verify the integrity of the game files using Steam:

  • Locate The Finals in your Library on Steam.
  • Right-click to access Properties.
  • In the Installed Files tab click on Verify integrity of the game files.

Keep in mind that this process will take a couple of minutes to finish. If there are any corrupt or missing files Steam will automatically download and replace them. Once that’s done, launch The Finals again and see if the bug has been resolved.
