Super Earth Might Be in Danger After the Latest Helldivers 2 Developments

Well, dear Helldiver, the time to defend Super Earth might be nigh. The Automatons used the Helldivers 2 players’ lack of attention, caused by the recent turmoil in the community, and they are now closer to Super Earth than ever.

Automatons Are Nearing the Super Earth

To remind you, before the whole controversy and the disappointment over the recent update, the players made great progress on the bot front. They split the Automaton forces in half, isolating a “pocket” in the Trigon sector, which the current Major Order deals with. Unfortunately, the other side of the Automaton front managed to extend almost to Super Earth.

Now, the community is split on what to do. MCbasics noted: “We just gonna ignore this? The bots are ONE SECTOR from the Super Earth. Is nobody concerned about this”? This sudden realization made the Helldivers come up with some undemocratic ideas, to say the least.

Several players pointed out that it wasn’t their problem, as long as the Major Order didn’t send them there. They were happy to continue with the MO on Vandalon IV. Others were just too mesmerized by the Gloom, a literal cloud of Terminid spores.

The most popular suggestion on how to deal with the bots being so close to Super Earth is just to let them invade it. Miserable_Habit1775 suggested: “Ok hear me out, we should let them invade the Super Earth just to see what might happen”. Surprisingly, or not, the majority of Helldivers 2 players agreed to let the invasion of Super Earth just play out.

Some Helldivers 2 Players Claim the Invasion Should Happen

Could the Helldivers 2 players see the invasion of Super Earth this early in the game? Many were extremely excited by the possibility, but, they’ll most likely have to wait a bit longer for that. EXO_R3EECH stated: “As funny as that would be, it won’t happen for a long time because Joel wouldn’t let them do that this early”.

Ah, yes, Joel, the elusive Game Master probably wouldn’t allow the Super Earth invasion just yet. Another player, itsyoboi33, noted: “The bots will never invade Super Earth. Joel decides which planets are invaded and which get liberated (by changing liberation decay) and I know Arrowhead has nothing for Super Earth yet. call their bluff, ignore the bots”.

Technical-Text-1251 added: “Super Earth is safe. We don’t have city biomes and they still need to finish the texture of the planet Earth”. Of course, many others hoped for some buffs in the case of invasion. Practical-Stomach-65 said: “Maybe, if the bots take over Super Earth, we get decent weapons. Let them take it. I don’t care”.

The chances are Super Earth is safe, this might be Joel’s attempt to unite the players in a grand Major Order, but we’ll have to wait and see what he has planned. In the meantime, meet us on Vandalon IV, we’ll be trying out a surprisingly good weapon from the Freedom’s Flame.
