That time of the year is fast approaching. Liberty Day is just around the corner and the Helldivers 2 players are already preparing for all the celebrations with an extensive list of requests and a wishlist. Get ready to celebrate the greatest holiday known to Helldivers.
There Is Something for All Helldivers on The Wishlist
For those of you who don’t know, Super Earth celebrates Liberty Day on October 26, every year. These celebrations usually include some gifts for devoted divers, special events, giveaways, live streams, and more.
After the amazing recent update, the fans have a lot of expectations for this year’s Liberty Day. As you may have expected, the majority of players noted they couldn’t wait to get a cape of two for their dedication to Super Earth.
Others had slightly bigger ideas. MrJoemazing suggested: “This is the first Liberty Day since the franchise became mega popular; they should go back. A new Stratagem, a fun and rewarding Major Order, and maybe even a small free 1-page Warbond for players”.
Let’s not forget about the Democracy Space Station, many Helldivers are sacrificing their lives fighting on Gaellivare and planning how to defend the site. One player, Soy_el_Sr_Meeseeks, noted: “So they are definitely planning on releasing the completed battle station on this day as a celebration right? Gives them about a month to construct it in the game”.
Of course, new weapons were on top of every list. Sandman4999 stated: “I would love it if they gave out the Constitution for Liberty Day”. Of course, we’d expect the Constitution to be equipped with a bayonet.
Some Helldivers 2 Players Had Big Demands for Liberty Day
On the other hand, some Helldivers 2 players’ wishlist for Liberty Day was way too extensive. We all hope for fixes and new storylines, but some players expect all the glitches to be gone by October 26. Weapon balancing is also quite a hot topic, as some fans expect more exciting changes in the upcoming month.
This might not come as a surprise, but many community members expect the third enemy faction to make an appearance on Liberty Day. This might be far-fetched, but over the last couple of months, there have been several leaks portraying the Illuminate. One player, CookieJarviz, noted: “You know THEY are going to arrive on Liberty Day”.
However, others, like only_horscraft, claimed that Illuminate would arrive unexpectedly. This player stated: “I have a funny thought that Pilestedt wants to have the illuminate invade at complete random. Like literally no proper warning or teaser, you will just see in a Reddit post at 13:27 on a Wednesday afternoon that the illuminate suddenly took the south sector of the map out of nowhere”.
