The rebel faction of Helldivers is at it again! Chaosdivers, best known for their extremist stances, are currently fighting on Imber, while their Helldivers 2 fellow players are fighting on a neighboring planet, Gaellivare. Are the Chaosdivers actually helping the so-called “loyalist”?
A Chaos Order Sends Chaosdivers to Imber
If the term Chaosdivers seems unfamiliar, you might have blinked and missed them. After the atrocious Escalation of Freedom update, a group of players separated in protest of all the disappointing changes. Unfortunately, due to some overzealous behavior (mainly team killing), the Chaosdivers were ostracized from the community.
In pursuit of their goals, these overly devoted players created their subreddit and Discord, where they talk strategy and issue Chaos Orders. So, right around the time of the latest amazing update, the majority of Chaosdivers insisted on staying true to their initial goals. They took credit for all the good changes but noted they were still against Super Earth. Chaos Orders are quite similar to Major Orders, they are issued weekly and give the players primary and secondary goals. Currently, the 7th Chaos Order is active.
The current Chaos Order sends Chaosdivers to Imber, their primary goal is to cleanse the planet. In addition, the secondary goal is to go to Lesath once they liberate Imber. Now, we have to give it to Chaosdivers, even though we don’t support some of the atrocities they committed, these players are quite organized.
Are Chaosdivers Ready to Join Helldivers in Managed Democracy?
There is maybe just one tiny problem with the Chaosdivers’ goals, however. As you probably know, Helldivers are currently trying to liberate Gaellivare, the site of the future Democracy Space Station. There will be many defense missions during the upcoming period. So, Helldivers are already coming up with strategies on how to fend off those pesky bots.
Yup, you guessed it! These “loyalists” suggested liberating Imber and Lesath as soon as Gaellivare was at 100%. The idea was to cut the Supply Lines to Gaellivare. So, the Chaosdivers fighting on Imber is inadvertently helping other Helldivers 2 players achieve their goals for Super Earth.
Will this realization make the Chaosdivers change their undemocratic ways? Or do they still secretly love Super Earth and wish to help? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we hope the Helldivers will appreciate the Chaosdivers’ efforts and maybe even join them on Imber. For Liberty and Managed Democracy.
