PSA You May Be Sitting on Piles of Gold on The First Descendant

Gold is the main currency of TFD that you use for basically everything. Every upgrade and every research uses Gold. Heck, you can even purchase new weapons with it. Research usually requires hundreds of thousands of Gold, but when you get to upgrading your Modules, the prices can be in the millions. That’s why you can never have enough Gold, and players have shared different ways to farm it effectively. However, there is also one method of getting Gold that almost everyone forgets.

High-Value Target and Mark For Arrest Bundles Hold Tons of Gold

A surprising amount of players are not aware, but you may just have a lot of gold sitting in your inventory, waiting to be claimed. Sometimes, when you kill an Elite enemy during a Special Operation, you may get a special item that holds a lot of Gold in it, named High-Value Target and Mark For Arrest. The problem is that this Gold is not automatically added to your stash. They behave like bundles, so you have to open your inventory and manually look for them and claim the Gold. Players usually forget about these so when they finally come to, it turns out they have a lot of unclaimed Gold they totally forgot about.

This was also brought to the community’s attention by a player named heyheyshinyCRH on Reddit. “I have literally never seen it mentioned anywhere. So you can find them under consumables->miscellaneous->use those items. I had about 7 million gold sitting in my inventory and didn’t know it lol. Hope this helps someone“

And help it did. “Dude I had 17.9 mil chilling in there. Thank you.” said MrPuddinJones. “This just gave me 4 mil gold. Thanks very much, you have solved one of my biggest problems!” added vectorViridian. Some even argue that this is intentional, that you should forget about these bundles and then be surprised by the amount of Gold you have accumulated. Whatever the case may be, we hope that this little PSA will help out as many players as possible.
