After successfully finishing the previous Major Order and choosing their favorite machine gun (the MG-43 Machine Gun), it’s time for some new adventures. The latest Major Order sends the Helldivers 2 to the bot front, to Choohe, to be exact. However, devoted Helldivers will first need to coordinate and fight their way through to this planet. It… isn’t going well.

Helldivers Don’t Have Access to the Designated Planet in the Latest Major Order

The new Major Order arrived on November 29, it was announced on the official Discord channel of Helldivers 2. This was the first major announcement following Twinbeard’s departure from Arrowhead.

Baskinator, the Community Manager, shared the High Command Briefing and the objectives of the new Major Order. She noted: “After thorough and Democratically-driven testing, the MG-43 Machine Gun was the first to reach the never-altered goal of 50 million enemies dispatched. All Helldiver arsenals will be temporarily augmented with the MG-43 Machine Gun as a result of these efforts”.

As for the Major Order, she revealed that Helldivers were going after the Jet Brigade. Sure, the. Jet Brigade was stopped fairly recently, but there were still factories able to produce new batches. Baskinator said: “Through liberating the Jet Brigade staging ground on Choohe and dismantling enough bots to find those with valuable information, we will be able to pinpoint the true origin of the Jet Brigade”.

So, the players have to kill 150 million bots and liberate Choohe to complete the MO. Now, killing so many bots has proven to be quite easy, as at the time of writing this article, the players have killed almost 100 million of them. However, the tricky part of this MO is liberating Choohe.

You see, there is no way to get Choohe without liberating another planet first. Matar Bay is probably the best pick, but Chort Bay would also be a good pick. However, according to third-party apps, Helldivers aren’t making any progress on either of these planets. Instead, the majority of players are on Pandion-XXIV, on the bug front.

What’s Happening With the DSS?

Funnily enough, Helldivers 2 players managed to agree on one completely unhelpful thing for this Major Order. They sent the Democracy Space Station to Choohe… even though Helldivers can’t fight there. This, of course, created quite a commotion in the community and triggered more requests for the improvement of the DSS.

The problem is that there is only a selection of planets where the players can send the DSS. For example, recently, Fori Prime, a planet in the Gloom, was on the list. However, neither Matar Bay nor Chort Bay was on the list, so the players voted for Choohe, not even knowing they couldn’t go there.

Blind0bserver noted: “I love this player base and how, as a collective, it has not made a single wise decision with the DSS since getting it”. Magistricide added: “I can see why we need a MANAGED democracy now”.

Obviously, this also raised the issue of the information available in-game. Many players feel that Joel should have communicated how to solve this problem. Until this problem is solved, we suggest you check in with your community before casting a vote. In the meantime, meet us on Matar Bay, let’s fight the bots together. For Liberty and Super Earth.
