LEGO Fortnite is getting a new patch on February 07, with new features and improvements for the most popular gaming mode. We have a new item, skin improvements, and some major fixes and adjustments. Let’s dive right in and see the new LEGO Fortnite patch notes v28.20.

What’s New In Fortnite Patch v28.20?

The Hunting Dagger

A new item is coming to the LEGO mode called the Hunting Dagger. While we don’t have any details, it is described as “most effective when enemies are distracted”. It comes in four rarities:

  • Common Hunting Dagger (craftable at a Level 1 Crafting Bench)
    • Unlock the recipe for the Common Hunting Dagger by adding a Bone to your inventory.
  • Uncommon Hunting Dagger (craftable at a Level 2 Crafting Bench)
    • Unlock the recipe for the Uncommon Hunting Dagger by adding a Cut Amber to your inventory.
  • Rare Hunting Dagger (craftable at a Level 3 Crafting Bench)
    • Unlock the recipe for the Rare Hunting Dagger by adding a Cut Ruby to your inventory.
  • Epic Hunting Dagger (craftable at a Level 4 Crafting Bench)
    • Unlock the recipe for the Epic Hunting Dagger by adding a Cut Sapphire to your inventory.

More LEGO Styles

With the new patch, even more Outfits will get their LEGO Styles. As before, if you already own these skins, you’ll automatically get their LEGO Styles in your Locker. The Outfits that get a LEGO Style are:

  • Black Widow (Snow Suit)
  • Blitz Brigade (Team Fortnite)
  • Crossbar Crusher (Team Fortnite)
  • Formation Fighter (Team Fortnite)
  • Launch Day Lewis Hamilton
  • Lewis Hamilton
  • Pass Rush Ranger (Team Fortnite)
  • Punt Paragon (Team Fortnite)
  • Red Zone Renegade (Team Fortnite)
  • Scrimmage Scrapper (Team Fortnite)
  • Snap Squad (Team Fortnite)
  • TD Titan (Team Fortnite)
  • Trench Runner (Team Fortnite)

Improved Existing LEGO Styles

Some existing LEGO Styles have gotten a higher-detailed version. They will temporarily replace the existing ones, but later this month, you will be able to revert to the old one, if you prefer. This is most probably a test, to see if the community likes these more detailed Styles. The Outfits that get an improvement are:

  • Candyman
  • Cuddle King
  • Fallen Love Ranger
  • Heartbreaker
  • Lovely
  • Lovethorn
  • Pinkie
  • Queen of Hearts
  • Tess

Other Improvements and Bug Fixes in LEGO Fortnite Patch v28.20

Items and Styles are not the only things coming with the v28.20 patch. There are a lot of major improvements, like the “Take All” feature for Chests. The full list of improvements is:

Gameplay

  • You can fly faster in Sandbox worlds!
  • It’s easier to place builds close to each other.
  • Commute and converse… You can talk to Villagers while on a moving object, including a Dynamic Foundation!
  • Items will be returned to your inventory after you change recipes at a Crafting Bench.
  • Tree logs will remain between gameplay sessions.
  • Village Squares can no longer be placed on things not attached to the ground since this was causing Village Squares to break.
  • Upgrading a Crafting Bench while another player is using it will work properly. (Waste your resources no more!)
  • Fixed an issue where using the “Deposit” or “Deposit Stack” options to put seeds in soil could make seeds go missing.
  • Fixed an issue where getting resources from Chests wouldn’t make recipes unlock.
  • Fixed an issue where the building limitation system would sometimes report that an area was too dense to build in, even though it wasn’t.
  • Fixed an issue where the cold status could stay on you if you were eliminated with the status.
  • Fixed an issue where wolves would sometimes run away from you for no reason.
  • Reduced the likelihood of the same Villager spawning twice.
  • The grass is always greener over there, and apparently, the storms are louder… A storm happening in the Grasslands will no longer scare Villagers in other biomes.

Stability and Performance

  • The frame rate when shadows are around is improved.
  • Improved stability so that crashes aren’t as likely.

Physics

  • Fixed an issue where Dynamic Foundations could disappear when traveling long distances at high speeds.
  • Fixed an issue where Toys could disappear after builds on a nearby Dynamic Foundation broke.
  • Fixed an issue where some crumbled builds could be pushed by players.

UI

  • A “Take All” option has been added to Chests. This is a quick way to get all of the stored resources!
