You can find Shadow Briefing terminals scattered all over the island. They look like computers that have a glowing icon on their screen, depicting a parachute, crosshair, map, or steering wheel. They are located usually at Major Points of Interest but it seems they do not spawn in the same place in every game. It looks like the Reckless Railways are your best bet, at least one computer usually spawns there. The Shadow Briefing terminals will be shown as a minor point of interest in your minimap, so keep checking your minimap as you explore.

How to Accept Shadow Briefings in Fortnite
Accepting Shadow Briefings is more than easy. Simply approach a Shadow Briefing terminal and a prompt to interact with it will appear. Press the prompted button and you will see the mission briefing, with the option to reject (X) or accept (✓). Naturally, you would want to accept. Note that you need to complete the ongoing Shadow mission, if you have one, before you’re able to accept a new one.
Types of Shadow Briefings
There are four different Shadow Briefing tasks, represented by four different icons on the computer screen. Each represents a different mission type, and those are:
- Bounty Shadow Briefings (Crosshair icon) – similar to Bounty Boards, these will pick a random target and task you with eliminating it within a certain time limit.
- Supply Shadow Briefings (Parachute/Supply Crate icon) – a supply drop will be marked nearby that you must pick up within a certain time limit. Note that this will also attract opponents.
- Treasure Shadow Briefings (Map icon) – You have to find two treasures hidden in a marked area, within a time limit.
- Vehicle Shadow Briefings (Steering Wheel icon) – This will rift in a vehicle, and you must drive it a certain distance to complete this mission.
