Diablo 4’s second Season is live, in line with the spooky month. The release was on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST for PC, Xbox, and Playstation, but what about the Diablo 4 Season 2 end date?
D4 Season 2 will be bringing some vampire-themed content to Sanctuary, a new storyline, World Bosses, Vampiric Abilities, and some Quality-of-Life improvements. Season 2 also heralds the release of Diablo 4 on Steam. Season of Blood also has its own Seasonal Journey, with its exclusive rewards. But how long will the Season of Blood last? Let’s see.
When Will Diablo 4 Season of Blood End?
At the moment, the unofficial end date for Diablo 4 Season 2 is January 23, 2024, at 10:00am PT. As Blizzard plans to release Seasons quarterly, it stands to reason that each season will last about 3 months. This will give even the most casual player ample time to fully enjoy the new content. To jump into the new content, players would have to have completed the main quest, thus having the option to create Seasonal Characters. Only those new characters enjoy the seasonal content, gather Potent Blood for the new Vampiric Powers, equip Pact Armor, and fight vampires in a Blood Harvest. When the Season ends, every Character from the Seasonal Realm will be transferred to the Eternal Realm, next to your other non-seasonal Characters.

How Long Did Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant Last?
For comparison, let’s take a look at Season 1. Season 1 began on July 20, 2023, and ended on October 9, 2023. That’s almost 3 months (81 days to be exact), as expected. There is no reason to think Season 2 will be radically different in that regard, so we’re safe to assume that the supposed end date of January 23 is the real one.
Diablo IV has suffered a drop in players with the last season, but the new Season 2 has brought a lot of players back including some new ones.
