How to Get Blood Lures in Diablo 4 – Locations and Uses Explained
Blood Harvests are an event in Diablo 4 Season 2 where an area of Sanctuary is infested by hordes of vampiric monsters. There are some items that can only be obtained in a Blood Harvest, so read on to see how to get Blood Lures in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4’s Season of Blood has its own Helltide-like event called Blood Harvest. It is a popular choice for farming XP and loot, gathering Hunter’s Acclaim points (to climb those Hunter Tiers and get better rewards), and getting some seasonal items, like Seeker Keys, Pact Items and, you guessed it, Blood Lures. So let’s see how we go about doing just that.
How to find Blood Lures in Diablo 4
It is pretty straightforward, you get Blood Lures by simply defeating enemies in Blood Harvest events. Blood Harvest zones can appear in any zone: Dry Steppes, Scosglen, Hawezar, you name it. Each group of enemies will most probably yield a couple of Lures. Fighting Blood Seekers and opening Seeker Caches will definitely yield some more. The good news is that unspent Blood Lures (and aforementioned Seeker Keys) carry over to the next Blood Harvest, so your effort won’t be in vain. It is great to combine this with gathering Reputation points for the Hunter’s Acclaim Board. But what to do with all the Blood Lures we gathered?
How to use Blood Lures
Blood Lures have two uses – for Sanguine Altars and for Blood Lure Pedestals. Sanguine Altars are chalices scattered over an infested zone during a Blood Harvest. Interacting with them requires 15 Blood Lures, and will summon two Blood Seekers. A great way to get those Seeker Keys. The other use is for Blood Lure Pedestals. There are always three Pedestals grouped together, and each requires 50 Blood Lures to activate. Once all three are activated they will summon waves of enemies and Ancients, monsters that reward us with powerful loot. Note that you don’t have to activate all three Blood Lure Pedestals by yourself, so it’s best to team up. Happy hunting.
