Diablo 4 Season 2 Season of Blood features
Following the lacklustre offering in Season 1, the devs have promised a slew of changes in the next season. Most will be a part of the new season mechanic, but there is plenty for Eternal players to look forward to. This is especially true of the QoL changes that are slated to appear with the seasonal patch.
On the seasonal side, Season 2 will feature a new questline in which players can uncover new Vampiric Powers to fight the vampire threat. There will be five new endgame bosses, and there will even be an ability to target specific Unique and Uber Unique items. The players will take part in a quest helping Vampire Hunter Erys, who’s going to be voiced by Gemma Chan.
On the more general gameplay side, players can look forward to some highly requested features. One of which is better inventory management for Gems. But an even more welcome feature is the revamped Renown carryover. This will now allow you to transfer all Renown rewards to your seasonal characters. This includes Skill Points, Potion Charges, Obol capacity, and Paragon Points.
Lastly, the devs have promised changes to the functionality of several status effects, such as Vulnerable, Overpower, and Critical Strike Damage. Moreover, it sounds like Elemental Resistances will finally be fixed, which has been a sore spot for players since the game’s launch.
