Before the release of CS2, many players wondered if maps would be changed and if old smoke lineups be viable. Now that CS2 has been released we can see all the changes the Source 2 engine has made to the game. Some maps were re-created completely and some got a cosmetic upgrade only. Let’s see the best smoke lineups for Nuke in CS2.
Nuke falls into the second category, only receiving cosmetic upgrades. With that said, many lineups carry over from CS:GO. But Valve also opened Nuke to the possibilities for new lineups to emerge as they removed all skyboxes. Now we will go through some of the best smoke lineups for CT and T sides on Nuke in CS2.
T-Side smoke lineups
Here are the best lineups for the T-side. Mastering these will give you a clear advantage over your opponents, and some of these smokes are classics.
Outside smokes
These are the essential smokes on the T side. Mastering them will allow you to create a wall of smoke to cover you while you push toward a Secret. For this, you will need three smokes.
Firstly go to the corner next to the truck on the T spawn.
Aim slightly above Silo and jump-throw the smoke.
This smoke will land in front of the T-Red.
For the next smoke, line up with a corner of the truck on T spawn.
Aim at the bottom-left corner of the third window, and jump-throw the smoke.
It should land next to the T Red towards Secret.
Lastly, we will use the same truck, lineup just behind the driver seat.
Aim at the top left corner of the building and jump-throw.
This will land in front of Secret and is the most essential of all three smokes.
Haven smoke
For this, you need to jump onto the pipe attached to Silo. And line up with the first red stripe.
Turn towards A site, and from the left aim at the bottom of a second metal bar.
Left-click throw to smoke Haven.
Vent Smoke
To smoke vent on A site, so your teammates can rush B, you need to stand in this corner outside T spawn.
Aim above the garage door, like so.
And jump-throw to smoke Vent.
- Ip32 water resistant – Prevents accidental damage from liquid spills
- 10-zone RGB illumination – Gorgeous color schemes and reactive effects
- Whisper quiet gaming switches – Nearly silent use for 20 million low friction keypresses
- Premium magnetic wrist rest – Provides full palm support and comfort
- Dedicated multimedia controls – Adjust volume and settings on the fly
CT side smoke lineups
CT-side has an easier time on Nuke than the T-side and their smokes are comparably easier to do. Nevertheless here are the best smokes on the CT-side to stop T-side pushes.
Outside smoke
For this smoke just run and throw a smoke while passing CT Red. Aim at a little blue box.
Haven Main smoke
Stand next to the Haven entrance to the A site.
Aim at the top corner of the Main and just throw. This will smoke the main entrance to A site.
Haven Hut smoke
From Haven enter the A site and go to the first pillar.
Aim at the bottom right-side corner of the Hut door and left-click throw to smoke the Hut.
