The villain role is great for strategy buffs. I think I am going to like this game being pretty is nice but not a reason I buy my games. I fully enjoy Neverwinter. That game look last gen, but I love it. It also has a huge number of people playing it on X1.

I swear to god the only reason why these scumbag videogame companies are force feeding multiplayer only games to console owners is because they can milk DLC to full extent without the stigma of it being a "free to play" game. Multiplayer only = bargain price pickup for me.

after watching I fail to see any fable here, they should of called it somthing else. fable 2 was the highlight if the series, this game is no fable.

30 hr single player campaign with quests and story. This is not mp only. But it is free to play.

As I've mentioned before, there appears to be a theme of Sony fans ignoring what next-gen lighting\rendering looks like as they claim this game looks boring while they claim games that render looking overcast, dull, and dim "all over the scene" are what's supposedly amazing and exciting.

For examples, see Bloodborne or Uncharted 4 that uses ND's LAST-GEN engine... they're both DIM and gloomy, and you can see dozens more examples with practically every upcoming Sony exclusive I've seen as multiplats (Witcher 3 and Battlefront, etc.) look better than what Sony is doing with their exclusives that are supposed to look better than multiplats.

Those that disagree should post links to upcoming Sony exclusives that are BRIGHT with the way they render smART, and I don't just mean that they have lighting effects such as in Bloodborne.

This video only shows the RTS style "over-head of villain" mode.

The lack of noticing what's important is verified over and over when hyping about how much bigger Ps make a difference while ignoring the ugly AF problems that looked much worse than the 900P versus 1080P difference... many claimed they NEVER NOTICED thus making their bigger P arguments verify as hypocritical over-hype.

@MasterCornholio, I didn't assume... I looked WRITE UNDER MY NOSE at the comment history of those posting negative comments. See my previous and future comments about SPIN... you're trying to SPIN it that they're not claiming boring because it is a Microsoft game when they obviously are, especially while they appear to be commenting out of ignor(e)ance not knowing that the "over-head of villain" mode is not the only mode... most Ms fans or anyone giving this game a REASONABLE chance would know that.

When people claim they a game looks boring they are making a reference to the gameplay and not the graphics.

Plus why do you assume its Sony fans? Any regular gamer can look at gameplay footage of a game and come up with an opinion of it. If the opinion is negative it doesn't mean they are a fanboy of a competing console.

This game looks fun to me.

I like the idea of a 4 v 1 multiplayer game, but the pricing never seemed right for retail releases. This is priced right to attract a healthy audience, and the cross-play with PC won't hurt either...

They could name this anything other than Fable and no-one would care. Seems like most people here agree, and most true Fable fans I've encountered are feeling the same way.

Where are the Fable traits? This game is now free-to-play and tagged with the name Fable to help its status. It's strange to me that it's considered a part of the franchise. It shouldn't. It looks boring and worse than Fable III in my opinion and that was considered the black sheep of the series.

All I know is that this is not what most Fable fans asked for. The best thing it's got going for it is the PC cross-play that actually might kickstart something of a healthy community between Xbox and PC players. I imagine a second team at Lionhead is working on Fable IV - The true follow-up RPG experience sans Peter Molyneux's empty hype.

-So, whats wrong with that?= It's FREE....and looks like its a well put together 4 vs 1 sort of hybrid RTS style game with cross pc/xbox play. If you're not into this type of multi game thats fine but it looks like fun to me and again since its free its great because its the first game me, my two nephews and a few of their friends are all planning to play together as soon as its available. I'm sure many here love games that you can get a nice group of friends together other than the usual hardcore fps. So why shouldn't micro mix things up with their IP's? Aren't they always being accused of playing it safe with sequels? Sounds like dammed if they do, dammed if they don't to me.

-You are right, its not but this game IS NOT replacing the traditional Fable its just a game that is set in the same fictional Fable world, the traits are very easy to see visually, still the point is its not a replacement, its in addition to Fable, same way Halo Wars (which was great) didn't replace Halo4, nobody asked for that either but it ended up having outstanding controls and was very enjoyable. Yes many folks actually paid for and enjoyed Halo Wars, yet of course Halo4 came in due time. The way I see it is the Fable sequel will come when its ready until then I'm not going to complain about what looks like a well made free strategy game branded with the Fable tag.
