I love the concept of walking around and catching Pokemon on your phone.
It makes it social and you can meet people.
What I don't like is everything else.
You don't get to fight the Pokemon first before catching it.
You can't even play directly against other players, which defeats the purpose of a social game of playing together.
You only play against an AI version of their Pokemon in a Gym.

By appealing to them, they have killed off the system before it's release for so many Hardcore gamers.
The keynote of "Hardcore" rather than "Casual" is that the Hardcore are serious about gaming.

Microsoft didn't wanted the game to look better on PC because of their Xbox One.
