MS are only interested in becoming a TV services giant....you should expect to rely on 3rd party developers for X1 even more than you did for the last 3 years of X360 for games.
Basically all they showed running on X1 was Forza 5, all cinematic angles too....
Fake crowd applause's for every little announcement, even a simple menu change had a loud applause lol.

They turned the Xbox into a glorified voice commanded TV remote with a glorified TV guide....oh and apparently it can play blu ray games that force a full install onto the modest 500GB HDD so that your friends cannot borrow it.
MS want to own YOU and YOUR living room....it's rocket science powered stuff according to the X1 reveal.
The only place X1 will sell well is N. America...MS just waived bye-byes to Europe and have even less hope in Japan with this ...

The next gen will be about PC/PS4 and Wii U as far as unique non Multiplat games go...Driveclub looked better than Forza 5 and very little of DC was shown.

SONY seem to be the only company that thought this thing out. Ironic considering the PS3 launch.
MS can and will place the Xbox One as an all in one media box, yet Sony did that 7 years ago with PS3??
Don't forget MS will charge for these services. They wouldn't let 360 users MP for free, so you can be sure they'll charge for watching TV.

Remedy's game was confirmed as pre-rendered footage, as was the EA footage. I believe only COD and Forza 5 footage was actually running off Xbox One.

TBH most games shown are coming to PS4 and all that TV/Cable stuff is already in your home without the need for Xbox One.
Seems to me MS did better with 360's reveal .... I feel more confident in PS4 than X1 after seeing both reveals...
A sad day for Xbox fans and for gamers in general...this puts Wii U back in the running and makes PS4 the gamers no.1 console of choice.
I can't see what more MS can do at E3 to counteract Sony.

I know what it's like to waste money on failed hardware. I owned the (amazing at the time) Dreamcast, and the sorry Gamecube....
I will not support a platform that cannot attract mainstream multiplats in favour of a few exclusive IP's that are Mario, Zelda and Metroid.
And those who are happy to have less than 10 must have games throughout their chosen consoles lifespan is no skin off my wallet.
Wii U is not crap, but it is a pointless purchase for anyone who doesn't care much for Nintendo's IP's...
EA are business smart. Think about this, YOU have 60 million to create a new IP. Now, would YOU gamble that 60 Mil on a console that may lose you that money due to poor sales and lower than 'next gen' specs?
Nah, course not...say what you like about EA, but they posted 4.6 billion in revenue last fiscal year and I'd take Fifa over...
IMO too much like uncharted, of which is better than any TR game ever released.
Although I really liked the Half Life series...I can't say I would care too much about an E3 absence. Its been 5 years since Orange Box, and Valve are hardly in my top 5 developers anyway, so no major loss for me.
Valve get way too much respect in the industry.
There is nothing..and I mean nothing any Xbox fan can say about PS4 or the Wii U after that awful X1 reveal...
