Not all first person games are FPS games. And they're not all as fast paced as COD or TF2.

Honestly though, if you already have the game, don't buy it on PS4. You're not forced to.
Just use your PS2 with component cables or original PS3.

If you have a capable gaming PC, get the Oculus Rift.
If you have both and money is a factor, think of what games you prefer.
If you have both and money isn't a factor, get both.
Some of them praise third-party exclusives on Nintendo platforms while at the same time dismissing all other third-party games on other platforms as COD and Madden trash, blind to some of the best games out there.

It should be noted that PSVR has red, green and blue sub-pixels for every pixel as opposed to AMOLED's sharing green sub-pixels horizontally.
Sony is the only company that currently has an RGB OLED panel of that size and resolution.
More sub-pixels combined with superior optics (developed in conjunction with Sony's camera team) and high refresh-rate will close much of the gap that the resolution disparity brings.

Each new generation has sold more consoles than the previous one.
Some of these games would look better on a TV.
It doesn't make a huge difference unless they also increased the polygon count and added hd textures.
Otherwise this level of clarity makes flaws more noticeable.
Are you playing that at home? Or do you carry that controller around with you too? Does it fit in your pocket? Or do you use a bag/backpack. If so, then you might as well bring a competent laptop.

Games don't ship with servers, which don't have anything to do with code.
I can't think of any Sony first-party title where that as a huge issue, aside from maybe DriveClub? Was that it?

Consoles don't sell as much in Japan as they do in other bigger countries, sure. But PS4 and even Wii U are outselling the Xbox.
Also, other outsider brands and products succeed more than some local ones in Japan.
Xbox just doesn't do it for them.
Jesus, Call of Duty and Madden are not the only third-party games out there.
