so many f'ken m'rons, these screens are low res, go HD at 720p or 1080p and Crysis will make Haze look like total last gen, and you dont need a 3000 dollar pc, I just bought factory oc 8800GTX for 520 and an X2 3800+ for 80(overclocked and running stable at 2.9GHz like a 5800+) and some memory for 130, a little more than ps3 if you already have a pc, but way much more powerful. besides you can get so many really good pc games for 30-40 bucks these days

dude you are wasting your money, 7800GTX still costs 200-300 bucks, recommend 8800GTS 320MB for you, costs 230-300 bucks, it will beat 7800GTX sli. As for PCs and gaming, there will always be Counter Strikes and WoWs for it that will attract a lot of people.

@tsctsc great post, you can get 3800+ X2 to 2.7 stable on decent aircool(which significantly improved my 3dmark06 score at around 9900(very decent) while on a single core 3000+(my old proc) it was struggling at 4700) and even more on intel c2d
and fact is most people who game have somewhat of a decent computer esp with the popularity of games like WoW
