It is being advertised as it's own game, you cretin, it is merely us who associate it with other existing titles. How can it be a halo killer if it's on a different system? They are not directly competing in sales. Nothing will ever be a halo killer, there's too much hype. That doesn't mean a game can't be better than halo. There are plenty of games that beat it in terms of quality. Stop flaming.
This game is essentially the playstation's Halo without the hype factor. And plus it's made by Free Radical, who might just be the greatest console fps developer ever. Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and the Timesplitters series is a hell of a resume. And of course, there's offline multiplayer with bots!!! Definitely looking forward to it :D
I'm not surprised at all by the statistics. The general public don't care about Hi Def. Frankly neither do I. We don't even own a Hi Def telly, let alone have one in my bedroom where my PS3 is.

Actually the problem is people not understanding what a 10 is. It doesn't mean that a game is perfect. There's no such thing as a perfect game. What it means is that the game is absolutely fantastic, and an absolute must buy.
You don't seem to realize the importance of aesthetics. The xbox looks awful. It is one of the ugliest consoles ever. The PS3, however may well be the nicest looking one ever devised. You only need to see it in person and you instantly know that it is a device of supreme quality. I probably would never have got one if my friend hadn't kept going on about how good it looks....

I'm fairly pissed about this whole guitar controller situation. I've got GH1 and 2 on the ps2, and all i want is a simple transition to ps3 so i can flog off my ps2!! Well not the sensible ones. This is only good news for the whole industry, ps3 included. I only have a ps3 but i'm really looking forward to playing this if any of my friends get a 360, however unlikely that is.
