Which is why Killzone looks better despite having less detail.
The end-of-year rush of PS3 titles is just now beginning. Combined with the price drop we're likely to see PS3 sales, especially software sales, accelerate rapidly until Christmas. Then of course there will be a fair bit of a dip until the spring, when another wave of even better games is scheduled to hit.

Not just 6th generation. The PS2 was the most successful console of all time.
There is no single reason, but the greatest and most important by far is locoroco. If everybody in the world was given a PSP and locoroco, world peace would be established very rapidly
It has been mentioned. A lot. This article at least gives us some hope that they might have sorted the controls out in the final game, although I doubt it. It's a real shame because it could be such a fantastic game but it's likely to be an utter let down.
Totally agree with you mate. I don't see the attraction of these racing sims. They're just boring. The only racing games I've enjoyed have been burnout, motorstorm, mariokart and crash team racing. I think my fave is motorstorm. It's not as fast as burnout but has much better tracks and a great range of vehicles.
Oh, whoops, I nearly forgot my all time favourite racer! Mashed! It was largely overlooked but 4 player mashed is fantastic fun.

I dunno.... I thought that at first, but I'm getting used to it and it's starting to make sense completely. The pacing is a lot more realistic.
The problems are the framerate, which I barely notice now except during replays (interestingly replays of goals when you control the camera have no problems at all and are incredibly smooth), and pixelation - this game is designed for hdtvs and looks fairly horrendous on my sdtv. The new scart cable i'm getting should reduce the problem though...

Ooooh man that would be cool. Maybe they'll do it, it does sound like a perfect example of remote play which they've been going on about loads lately.
Very cool. I wish you could move around in first person though. It's perfectly possible, you do it in ratchet. I just get very irritated when in 3rd person games I have to get into position and then look.
What are you supposed to do in katamari? Roll over things? Get bigger?

And don't forget that the online functionality will be screwed over. Spore is supposed to be a heavily online game with loads of other people's creatures everywhere. How on earth do you do that on a wii?
